It was a mid temparture game at the superdome, Saints-packers. Im the saints Saints in their darks, packers in their lights. It was the first quarter gun, and the packers were up 17-0, at the end of the second quarter it was 27-14, (Jay Bellemy picks off Favre Deep Pass and brings it for six, devery henderson catches deep ball on Charles Woodson) Going into the second half i was all fired up, oh hell no, i aint getting beat by no damn packers, so i come out right at the gate for the second half and who else but Reggie Bush returns the opening second half kickoff for 102 yards, then i kick back off to the packers , and shut them down on their own 10, we went 3 and out to 3 and out until i was able to drive down the field and punch it in with Duece Mcallister, then they got it back and drained the clock and kicked a field goal making it 30-28 packers still up, going into the fourth quarter i was saying to myself, okay, i can win this.... to start the fourth quarter i drove to their 21 and was forced to kick a field goal, making it 31-30, then upon kicking it back, they hammered their way down field and scored with ahman (washed up) green, and he scored the 2pt conversion also, with 2:51 remaining, i thought i was all but finished, as it was 38-31, and i needed a TD to stay alive... I 3 and outed, and i thought it was over, they pounded the ball down the field but i got a stop, they punted the ball to me, and they downed it on the 5, i thought i was screwed with 1:59 left i said to myself, shit shit shit, but then i calmed and drove down the field, Brees passed with presicion and Henderson, Horn, and Hass Held on tight and at the end Hass caught a pass 12 yds, while still in flight it was 38-38 knotted up again... So i kicked it back with 1 minute left, they returned it to the 15, and out came Favre, They drove to their forty, and that was it, favre went back to pass, went deep to driver, and as soon as the ball arrived, so did Fred THomas, he knocked the ball loose, a fumble was called, i grabbed it up and just went out of bounds, 40 seconds remained i had no Timeouts wat would i do, I think Bush Knows, He took a quick handoff and brought it up the middle for 25, then i called the no huddle audibled to a Swing Pass, Pump faked to reggie and hit up henderson deep, he caught it at the 45, i came right back deep to Hass, at their 38 now, i ran ahead with Mcallister i got 10, so i was at the 28, well in range, i ran one more time, gaining 3, i had 15 seconds left, on the 25 yard line i came out with the kicking team, as time was winding down, Karney set up, stepped up and booted it through 41-38 it was with 8 seconds remaining, i kicked it off, touchback it was, they came out on O, and ran 2 quick plays, one for 10 and one was smacked down, that was the end, and victory was mine, i thought for a while, what am i gonna eat for breakfast???
I think my game-ending trumps yours.......... I don't remembe it all that well but: im playing as my created team (relocated the browns, became the San Juan Sharks) So I don't remember who I was playing, but It's going toward the end of the 4th as a very close game, I scored to take the lead but left too much time on the clock (about 2 minutes?) The other team drives down to take the lead with 14 seconds left. I prepare for a squib kick (and thankfully I get it) It bounces off my TE (second guy in from the right from the KRer's view) who is a Madden Generated guy with 87 speed, 6-3, 250, and rolls on the ground for a bit and he picks it up, the blocks form perfectly , and I follow behind my starting KRer who takes out the kicker and I run right past them 73 yards to pay dirt, my first squib kick return TD ever!!!!! That would do it as there was only a few seconds left on the clock..... When I broke free I started jumping up and down saying "YES!!! YES!!!!" I don't think I was ever so excited, lol My KRer finished the year with 1000+ yards with a long of 79, and no TDs, my TE finished with 3 KRs for about 100 yards and one TD with a long of 73, lol
I don't know... yous seems like the always usual coming back and kicking a field goal ending, I returned a squib kick when I was behind with 10 seconds left for a touchdown to win......
how does that work for you? i play on all-madden and so many broken tackles against me in big spots it's ridiculous
What do you mean? My only problem is, I always get very realistic games (this year I was 3rd in scoring, 15th in defense) but I always manage to win about every game.........
You get too many freaky plays, such as guys running for long TDs bouncing off defenders, long bomb TD passes, the CPU gets too many crazy plays...... I think All-Pro is where you get the most realistic games but it depends on how you play I guess

In late winter/early spring 1998 I was playing in my third season as the Jets (Madden 98). I made it to the Super Bowl. It was a low scoring (at least by Madden standards), hard-hitting affair. The Cowboys were winning 20-10 with only a few minutes remaining. I drove my team down the field and kicked a field goal. I do not recall if I recovered an onside kick or if I simply kicked off deep and then stopped Dallas three and out. Either way, my team possessed the ball down 20-13 with less than a minute to go. I scored a touchdown in the final seconds of the game. Then it happened. Shockingly, I kicked the extra point attempt too low and lost 20-19.
this game was played on the All-Pro level on 11-25-06 I used the Falcons. I had only one good offensive drive of the game and it wound up resulting in a touchdown pass with 3 seconds remaining. The Colts only had about 20 yards of total offense in the first half. That's enough. The linescore and stats speak for themselves. oh maaaan i have crazy one. saints @ redskins, im the saints. 49-49 4th quarter 2 minutes left i have the ball on the redskins 40, we've been going back and forth all day back and forth back and forth. i figure if i can run the ball inside the 30, i can run the time out kick a field goal and win. so i hand off to mcallister and WOOOP, he fumbles. Redskins recover, score a td with 1:20 left in the game, 56-49 redskins. I get the ball back, throw a cross pattern to devery henderson, he catches it and steps out at the 50, i run the same play, he catches it and brings it 50 yeards, 55 seconds left 56-55. Being that its christmas and ifeel lucky, i decide to go for the two, unfortunately drew brees isnt vince young and i get stuffed. so i try for the onside kick, dont get it. he runs it up the middle but i stop him and he only gets 1 yard, i call a timeout, 45 seconds-ish on the clock. i decide to do a field goal block seeing as i still have 2 timeouts left so he has to run the ball. he hands off to clinton portis... or does he? he runs a PA and there are my 6 guys ready to DEVOUR Mark Brunell, and BAM, 3 guys all hit him and he fumbles! saints recover it on the 45. 35 seconds left, i run my favorite cross pattern to devery, he runs it to the 3 yard line and i let time run dwon, call a timeout with 4 seconds left, kick the fg and go home the winner. Drew Brees had 6 td passes and over 500 yards in the air, devery henderson had 4 td's and 300+ yards recieving, amazing win for me.
