I honestly don't know what the suspension was actually for, but before this devolves into a non-sequitur discussion about pot legalization and the ridiculousness of penalizing recreational weed use in the NFL, in the here and the now, it's immaterial in the case of Josh Gordon. He was hanging by the only thread he was ever going to have - ever - and whatever the conditions of his employment were, as Draconian as any of us might feel they were, he blew it. No wiggle room. I'd say that makes him a Grade A jackass.
It was for illegal sustances. Same as always. Can't quit the drugs even giving a ton of chances. I believe it was marijuana again. Guy just has so much talent but no brains.

That's the name of the policy though, doesn't specifically state what the substance he took was. I just find it ridiculous guys can cop 4 weeks for using PEDs and then get basically run out of the game for drinking or smoking weed.
