Against that schedule? Wait for 2021 or whenever the Johnsons sell the team.

Just can't make this up at this point. The Jets have lost starters at almost every position it feels like.

Darnold for a couple games, Enunwa, Herndon, Griffin, Beachum for a couple games.

    Quinnen Williams, Mosley, Adams, Williamson.

I'm not even counting the guys that were starters but were basically addition by subtraction such as Winters, Trumaine Johnson, Daryl Roberts, etc.

Jets already had nearly a third of their entire cap space on season ending IR, more than any other team.

Can we just forfeit the rest of the season now? No real reason to play out the string. Everybody worth evaluating is already on IR. We already know what we're working with.

The Jets were done for the year when they hired Gase.

Powell is missing the game with the flu so I’m guessing it may just be legit.

This has been the worst injury plague season I can remember, or could have imagined. When Williamson went down for the year I was upset, but little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg. As much as I hate Gase , no coach could overcome the losses of so many players. The only position the jets are relatively healthy is defensive line, & they are ranked #1 vs. Run. There is one more loss that I hope doesn't happen.....Greg Williams. He has done a great job with what he has to work with due to injury. 2020 can't come soon enough.

His bones turned to dust the moment he signed the contract.

Somehow, somewhere there is a secret cache of Madden 2020 video games with all the Jets on the cover. Probably in Belicheck's closet next to his voodoo dolls.

Make that 2 years... First, it was the curse of Namath... Now we can add... the curse of Gase.

He had been ill all week, should have left him out of this game and no ankle injury happens.

To be fair we have been cursed with bad coaching a long time. I think that's why the Johnsons hired Gase... They want to be consistent.

It is possible to be consistently awful. Just ask the Chicago Cubs how many generations they had to endure. Maybe we can call this the Curse of the Johnsons?

But we all already know it’s the curse of Namath.
