Jamal Adams, best safety in the league and will be first team all pro this year. Time to lock him up this summer.
he definitely does, I am sure this board blew up when the whole "trade rumor" news went down. I was suppose to come back from Manila like 4 weeks ago, but ended up staying for work ... I missed so much freaking football. It's good to be back home, the food there is too freaking weird.
Jamal Adams put up another 1/2 sack vs Oakland. Now @ 6.5 sacks on the year and only 1.5 sacks away from the All-Time record for most single season sacks from a secondary player (outside CBs, nickel/dime backs, FS/SS) and only 2.0 sacks away from breaking the record. Kid is generational; pure greatness.
Jamal just confirmed that he was playing hurt from late 1st quarter on and is now in a walking boot. Seems like he will miss some time. Just when you think things cant get any worse.....
4-8... Seems pointless to bring him back at all unless we're talking pure record breaking. Same for Mosely.
It's even dumber for a position based record. He should be shelves for the reason of the season if it's anything more than a bone bruise.
If I'm Douglas I'd be open to moving Chris Herndon too. Nice n cheap too. Gimme a mid round pick he's yours.
There's no value for a player who hasn't played in a season. Unless you're the Jets and you decide to give him $13 million a year. But that's besides the point.
Trade Adams if presented with a good offer. You don't build teams around a safety, no matter how good he is. The Jets badly need offensive line help. There's what should be first and foremost addressed via the Draft and free agency.
