Chris and Woody need to be embarrassed again it seems. This time though, Joe Douglas is at the helm and has a 6 year contract. He needs to be tasked with making the decision as to who the coach will be. Chris Johnson needs to own up to his mistake of hiring Gase in a presser, and state that he no longer wants any say in football decisions. Let football people make football decisions.
Took some time off this board last year after I thought it couldn't get any worse, but this post is stupid. If I were the Johnson Brothers, you can make fun of me all you want but if I run this team in the black, and consistently make a return on equity that beats the S&P 500, I'm laughing all the way to the bank. Stop going to games, stop paying the PSL annual fee, stop watching on local TV (this decreases NY market ad-buy revenue), go ahead and pirate from Russian websites if you want. Don't go to the American Dream Mall, Don't go to concerts at Metlife, Don't go to horse racing. They get money from parking all year round. And If anyone knows what ventures the Johnson Company, Inc run, stop supporting them too. Woody Johnson bought this team for $635 Million in 2000, 18 years later it's valued at $2.85 billion (2018 valuation from Forbes) That's more than 4x growth. The football team has been a way better investment that J&J stock, if anyone is wondering. Hit them in the wallet, or in the Johnson's case: their pocket book.
Yeah these sorts of people have no humility or self awareness ....the only thing they care about is the green...stop going to games, stop buying jerseys, stop buying your Jets lunch boxes....being mean to them on Twitter and Facebook does nothing.
I don't blame the Johnson's sometimes. They've tried. They just don't know what they don't know and they believe everything a strong personality sells them. Imagine you owning a make up company and suddenly trying to hire a new product developer. That's what it's like for these two bozos.
