Anytime I see this guy I field I scratch my head.

Why does he get playing time? Really think about it try to name one play that he has made all season. He does not do anything at all. If anyone taped the game or watch the highlights and just focus on him. He does nothing at all. He cannot get off blocks, he has no speed at all. I do not understand why Mangini plays him.

On that huge run by Willis watch Chatham... the dude is a waste of space. I know after a loss like this other things should be on my mind but he is a terrible player. Ya I know he knows the system and works hard but the guy cannot play!

Memo to coach only play him on special teams please.

Don't even play him on ST, he's the guy that fumbled the onside kick in the first Buffalo that allowed them to have an oppurtunity to score and send the game into OT

When Chatham and Kassell are in together, that just spells a run of at least 10 yards. They're special teamers!

He's a hold the fort guy, in Parcells' words, who is there to settle the lockerroom and to serve as Mangini's eyes and ears when he's not around. Maybe his PT is more a function of troubles in the LB corp more than a belief he has the goods to play LB full time in this league.

These forums just would not feel the same if fans like you did'nt have anybody to blame for the Jets underachieving games. God forbid we talk about the flaws as a whole within this team, I would hate for it to ever be a failed effort by this team.

Instead individual players keep costing us these games. We should probably just cut all of those bad players that are making those mediocre mistakes at best. :/

I totally feel what you are saying MeanDean but I would of wrote this if we won by 30 points yesterday.

It wouldnt matter the outcome. Im not down or mad cause we lost Im just saying that Chatham provides nothing for this team at all. I really like what Mangini is doing but I hate to see Chatham on the field. Even if he is slow he could at least shed blocks and get to the ballcarrier but he doesnt. He doesnt provide a pass rush or anything. Watch the upcoming game on MN and just watch what he does.

They should never be on the field together and they were the ones responsible for Willis' big run.

Thats why they didnt play in New England, cause they sucked. But for some reason, they play for us.

Exactly my point! With those two in, that means Barton and Hobson are out, and although Barton and Hobson aren't great, they're 10x better than Kassell and Chatham.

I don't mind the rotation Mangini uses at RCB between Poteat, Barrett, Miller, and even Coleman earlier..But the LB rotation I really dislike. Hey I could understand if it's ONE of them to give a breather for one play, but when both are in there, I just hope the DLine can make the stop because those 2 sure as hell aren't.
