Facts. What's worse this time is I think CJ is under the spell of those crazy eyes. He's kind of afraid of gase. And he likes it. The loudest voice of conviction will always be the wisest voice for CJ. CJ looks at everyone like they're a hurt puppy, and he wants to nurse them all back to health. Williams. Holy shit. As crazy as it was for him last year, he must think he's cursed or something, walking into this BS. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
What is it with some people? They have to make some sort of homophobe reference about my nick. Harris reminds me of the fucking arby's commercial, ok? Yeah, its ving rames, but harris kinda sounds like him. I have about a dozen different nicks across several platforms. As incredible as I may or may not be, I sure as fuck ain't perfect. No way now how. We would eat all the bonuses and guaranteed money. Clayton has been out of the football.loop for a while.this is a bullshit article
There's no rationale to trading Bell. Don't get me wrong, rationale is not something the johnsons have a firm grip on. There wasn't much interest in him. They'd take an absolute beating, and they'd have to fire themselves at that point. After 40 years, I would have to walk away. Levels of stupidity even Dan Snyder would snicker at. Al Davis would come back to life, solely to mock the johnsons. Which means it has about a 45% probability of happening. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
The scariest thing of all is that the only real voices of authority in the room with this egomaniac, will be the owner who just fired the standing GM (basically at his request) after only 3 months in the building while also relinquishing all operational power to him, and likely his good buddy Joe Douglas who will nod and praise his wisdom. I'm optimistic for the best, but I'm scared. I could just imagine Gase making a wild move like trading Bell just to flex on ppl, show them he doesn't need him. "Prove" he is as smart as they say. Doesn't seem far fetched when you factor in his history.
As others have said, this makes no sense, but then...Jets. I would be shocked though because there's no way they could get what he's worth. OTOH, if trading him would clear his cap space and allow them to get a C and Edge or CB, I could see them doing it - NOT that I agree it's the right thing to do, but if Gase truly didn't want Bell and believes in his heart that he can build a SB-caliber offence without him, again, I could see them doing this. But IF this happens, it may be enough for me to pull the plug. I'm still trying to be hopeful that Gase can outperform my expectations, but it's getting shaky.
And boom Clayton got some of you riled up. Which is exactly what his intentions were. Gase is not trading Bell, listen to him talk about Bell and how much of a threat he sees him as.
I mean I said there is no way that Macc gets fired after picking the coach, spending $125M in FA and executing the draft. So the level of incompetence in this organization is unbelievable. Finally, if Bell does not fit in Gase’s system, then his system f****** sucks!
It's all made up? So you think the entire media's lying including national guys like Mike Lombardi and Jay Glaser who had there being a feud long before our useless beat guys? What other reason could there be for a sudden change now, at this point of the offseason - because Chris Johnson woke up from a drug-induced haze and finally realized he could make more than one change in an offseason? If it wasn't a power struggle why is Gase the interim GM, getting to pick his own GM?
My fear with an ego out of control like Gase who allegedly always has to prove he is right is that he will attempt to do a Mangini and hinder the development or bench players drafted he did not want or FAs signed that he was against.
