With all the talk -- that we didnt show up, Pennington "sucks", out coached, out hustled, out whatever -- as we all know -- there were four plays that mattered today. Literally four -- and they didnt really have anything to do with what came before or after in the sequence.

    1. Great run TD
    2. Pump Fake TD
    3. INT TD
    4. Fumble TD.

That's it. Two turnovers and two 50+ plays.
Even if Chad would have played well, to score 28+ points against a good defense, is a tall order.

I think what you take from this is that we are not good enough to show up and win.

This was a huge game because -- you figure we need 10 wins and you also figure well loste one of the next two on the road.

But...at the end of the day...watch the films and beat the Vikes.

Yo shut up. Get the FUC* out of our forum. I never seen fans of opposing teams this bad. Your a disgrace to football fans period. No wonder buffalo got such bad luck. Thats why you guys never won a super bowl and never will. I can't wait till you guys move. Can't even support your own teams thats why your games were blacked out the last two weeks on tv.

    Some games are.
The jets beat the packers last week w/o big plays and same with the wins against the texans.

The point is that the Jets werent outplayed by the Bills. Bills just werent THAT good. Bills deserved to win. Clearly. But to the jets fans that are jumping out the window -- this game didnt really expose the jets. It was 4 plays.

Still, you don't know what would happen without those plays. Mcgahee had the long touchdown run...but if he didn't, there's still a good chance they would have scored the way they were running the ball. They pretty much dominated us. Played better offense, defense, better coaching.

yea you are definitely right. But you need to understand my frustration is double. I live in Buffalo from all places because I go to college here and they were being very obnoxious.

I thought a turning point came in the 3rd qtr, even after all the bad plays in the 1st we were down by a TD and 2 pt conversion and on 4th and inches at the Buf 40 we punted it. He'll go for it on 4th and G from the 3 in a tie game but he punts it on 4th and inches down 8 and gets 18 yards on the punt.

The long TD pass was inexcusable, Rhodes has ben great all year but he cannot bite on the fake along w/ the corner.

The Bills just took it us, we were terrible and they played great and a major part of the reason we played so bad was b/c they were playing so well.

I think this is an excellent summary of what happened. Sure, there were four big plays, but even if you take them out McGahee still was running at will all day, Pennington was terrible, the coaching decisions were highly questionable, etc. And who says you can take out big plays? The Jets won several games this year because of big plays, and I didn't hear anyone say that they didn't count as a result.

The fact is that the team that played better won yesterday, and it wasn't really close.

It was a mind bogglingly stupid call but I wouldn't call it a turning point. There is never any reason to punt on 4th and inches in the opponents territory. It simply can't be justified. However with Chad barely completing a pass that wasn't a dumpoff to Leon Washington in the 2nd half it probably wouldn't have mattered in the end.
