    Per multiple sources on Twitter

Crazy that we now have the four best QBs in NY!

Seriously though, this is Gase's call I'm sure. Can't hurt to have another camp body. Interesting for sure though.

    We can cut Darnold now.

I guess the hope is that one of Falk or Webb flashes potential in the preseason and we can get even a 5th for one of them. That'd be a win.

Yeah but the Jets may only keep three when regular season rolls on in.

Maybe three of them can merge together to form a super robot capable of anchoring the offensive line.

Good move. He knows Gase's system. Deadly accurate QB in college. He could be a long term solid NFL backup and spot starter. I like him better than anyone else on the roster not named Sam.

I would guess Webb, Silvers, and Falk will battle for the #3 spot. Siemian is a solid back-up QB to me. If one of those guys really impresses, it could potentially make Siemian expendable, but I doubt it. Obviously no other player truly matters at the QB position besides Sam, but it is nice to have depth.

I agree Silvers, Falk and Webb will battle for the number 3 on the PS and likely for the chance to be the long term number 2.

I am guessing they are not high on Webb. I was excited about the Silvers signing after the AAF folded.

The Jets turned Teddy Bridgewater into a 3rd round pick last year and went with McClown as the primary back up. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they do the same with Siemian (doubt for a 3rd though) this year if one of the others shows he's capable of being the primary back up. All three have more college experience than Darnold and all three had at least a 2:1 TD:INT ratio (Falk was nearly 3:1) while Siemian's college stats were underwhelming so I think it's possible they showcase Siemian for a trade and go with 2 of the others with the odd man out winding up on the practice squad.

They are not getting anything for Siemien... a conditional 7th at best.... c’mon...

Bridgewater was a 1st rd talent only stopped by injury. My opinion of him aside, some thought he still had and maybe even still has FQB potential, if given the chance, now that he has shown some health / durability.

JAGs are insulted when Siemien is called one...

I liked Falk in college. Very good accuracy, but his arm strength was a question, and whether he was mobile enough. I guess we'll see first hand if those shortcomings have been overcome.

If nothing else, it’s always good to have someone around familiar with offense you are trying to install. He’s got long term back up potential though.

It does not seem like the new CS is high on Webb at all.

Too bad we don't have as many Centers on the roster as we do QB's.

Well said. I wouldn't even have Silvers here tho. Let Webb & Falk duke it out for QB3.

The only time I saw him play was against Darnold and Falk outplayed him in that game. Whoever it is, the Jets need a somewhat competent backup not named McCown. I wonder what the Jets record might have been last season if Bridgewater was the backup instead of McCown.

I watched a lot of his games only because my nephews childhood friend my older sister was friends with his mom same playpen together etc played RB for Washington State for 4-5 years; Keith Harrington #24 didn't get a lot of carries but when did had an awesome yards per carry average and scored TD's when given a chance. Falk was his QB and he's a hell of a QB. Great prospect to mold behind Sam Darnold.

He was selected 199th overall last year, same as Tom Brady. Did you know that?

oh wait. If you watched any ESPN last spring you do as they cited that endlessly during their post draft coverage

Same Old Jets Fans. As if we can spare 5 roster spots when we already drafted the best QB in the 2018 draft. All it takes is one year and Same Old Jets Fans will give up on a sure thing because Same Old Jets Fans always have to complain about something, they can't just sit back and enjoy when things are good. Some people just need something to be miserable about.

    or

I agree! I never wanted Darnold, he was too turnover prone in college and USC quarterbacks never work out, just look at Matt Leinart and MARK SANCHEZ, when will this team ever learn? I personally wanted Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, they are far more athletic. Yes, we need to trade Sam Darnold as soon as possible, we can't just sit there and wait for him to become a bust, it has already been 50 YEARS since we won a Super Bowl!!! And don't even get me started on his NAME.
