I like them. Not a best case scenario but our current unis are so stale by this point that I'll be happy if we switch to these. Also before some old guy flames me, I like the style of our current unis but the green seems to have gotten drabber by the year.
I think the #1 tell that these are fake is the neck. NFL is having its 100 season anniversary and every team is gonna have that on the neck area, these do not.
I could live with the leak if it's real. They're not beautiful or cutting edge or anything, pretty generic actually. But this is the Jets, they could really do far worse than this. Look at the Titans.
Only thing I would change is “Jets” instead of “New York” over the numbers. I think the helmet is going to be richer in green than the potato leaked image suggests. It looks like a nice emerald satin green. I love it.
This is the way I'm looking at it too. It doesn't look like dogshit. Some elements are bleh, but I was prepared for something horrific and insanely different; so this should suffice.

The Jets still can't sell out games so changing the uniforms is just another revenue stream. All about the money.
They can’t sell out games because they were a shitty and boring team...If they turn things around on the field they’ll be fine The uniforms were due for a change with the new Darnold era IMO
Jerseys and pants are fine, but the helmet logo is very cartoonish and doesn’t seem to fit the design (or the primary logo..) Also hats off to the editor if this does wind up being fake
100% agree about the logo not fitting the rest of the design. Still kinda feel it could be a fake plant by the organization because of that very reason.
I think the Jets may be trolling the fans and assume all will be forgiven when the real unis come out tomorrow assuming most like them ...
That helmet can’t be real ........no way does it fit any source’s descriptions of it being futuristic, interesting, or bold ....not a single source said “meh” .
The Logo came right out of a HS Art Class...OMG Wake up tomorrow ...maybe different. The 80s ones with JETS At an angle with jet plane are my all time favorite
There's a big difference between "new school or drastic" and "refreshingly updated". From my POV, these fall towards the latter end of the spectrum, but that said, they're just MEH - some new tweaks (Shoulder "swoosh"; pointy stripe down the legs; "New York" on the front; numerals sort of Old School; sort of Kelly green - and then there's the all black version which as you know I think sucks. The helmet is "color Rush" which I'm ambivalent about, but the logo is a mash up. I would've liked jet wings on the front, a la the Eagles - THAT would've been new and different, but not "drastic" IMO. I don't know if I'm a "hater", but for all the supposed planning and design and secrecy, the result is a big THUD.
With the power of social media, it's not unfathomable. That's A LOT of free publicity. Brian Bassett had an odd theory, a bit far fetched but interesting. The Jets had 2 final designs, leaked one to gauge what people thought and then released one or the other tomorrow (depending on public reaction). Man, the NFL figured out a way to keep us talking in the offseason like this is some TV Drama. Geniuses.
