Why call the time out now? If the PAts convert they have a chance to use the clock to score. OK, they held them, but it was still the wrong call.
Maybe, but I've NEVER seen Anderson catch a contested ball. Really I blame those who put him in that position: Bowles, Bates, and yes, McCown, but still if he wants to be a pro football player he needs to catch that ball.

Okay, they tied it because Myers has a great leg, but it still doesn't absolve Bowles for taking that T.O. when the Pats had 3rd and 4. That was a typical Bowles screw up. Had they not called it they would've been able to extend that last drive and maybe gotten 7 instead of 3 and taken the lead. Had the Pats made the 1st down it would've allowed them to possibly score to close out the half. Bowles MUST go!
Okay...watched this reel: Saw 4 out of all that - at 1:15, 1:50, 2:02; 2:22 I think. So your point is valid. Still most of his receptions were when he was open, and there are many - like today - where he didn't hold onto it, and of course they won't make a "highlight reel" of those. Bottom line - Jets need to greatly upgrade their receiving corps.
