Peter King on the Jets wagon? They'll Be In NEW YORK JETS Overall record: 7-5 Conference record: 5-4 Remaining games: Buffalo, at Minnesota, at Miami, Oakland What I hear from everyone I talk to is the same: It's too soon for the Jets. They're not ready. We can impose whatever preseason prejudices we want on this team, but the fact is this team is 5-2 over the last eight weeks, they play exceedingly smart football, and they finish against four straight teams with losing records. Phil Simms put it right when he said on CBS Sunday: "They are going to reinvent themselves on both sides of the ball each week to do whatever it takes to win.'' They may have to run the table, which would mean winning at Miami on Christmas night, to get in. But because Denver and Kansas City both lost Sunday, I could see the Jets losing at Miami and still making it. If my imprecise seedings hold, how about this wild-card matchup: Jets-Patriots, Saturday night, Jan. 6. Sounds like the Saturday night NBC wild-card tilt to me. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/peter_king/12/03/mmqb/index.html
Yea, I think only last week this jackass predicted that Green Bay would beat us yesterday. So his crystal ball doesn't necessarily mean much to me

the comment on the end about us vs. pats first round in the saturday night game would be amazing. I would absolutely be estactic if it played out like that.
King blows hot and cold on the Jets but he hates to miss something completely so he'll definitely talk them up as long as they keep winning. I believe the Jets are 50/50 at this point for the playoffs and if they make it Mangini is definitely coach of the year.
I think he should be, but I bet Sean Peyton wins it. He rebuilt the entire city of New Orleans.
Everyone's picking us to win the last four game and make the playoffs. Why shouldn't they? The last four teams are playing spoiler and not much else will motivate them. We're the only lock in the AFC wild card chase, which will make it extremely sad if we screw this up. Please, Jets, for the love of God don't screw this one up.
This fat bastard better not jinx us. I'm going to be completely obliterated at that game on Christmas. I can't friggin wait.
