I have seen about enough of this Herm/Bradway relic. The first Ched P interception can largely be attributed to JMacs lack of effort at being a physical receiver. If it were any body else down there, Cole, Cotch, Smith....Chad at worst just throws for an incompletion.

I have seen this guy quit on too many plays. We definitely overpay him. Timwe to let somebody who wants to play come in and take over.....like Brad Smith!

Yah, but in his defense he has been degraded by us in a sense. He has been placed as the 3rd WR for this team to start the season. Rightfully so, but it would mess with anyones head. Technically he was really the 4th string WR with Dwight in the lineup. In my eyes anyway. Then he gets placed on Special teams (at his request), and having to downgrade to ST just to see the field probably is not the best thing for your motivation level.

He also knows he is probably not going to be on this team anymore after this season, but you would atleast think that on this reason alone, it would make him play above and beyond his level. He is basically showcasing for other teams at this point, and really is not doing a great job of this. Meh... Kinda feel for the guy. Maybe I am just too nice..

I think he will be gone after this year. He deserved to be on the roster this year for a few reasons... but its not working out. He might play better on another team or mabey not

It's that easy huh? While I agree with alot of what Hornet says. Especially that first INT. I think this guy is still capable of being an asset to this team. Maybe more of Brad Smith will change my mind.

I think that while it sucks that Dwight is out for the year, this forces the FO/CS to deal with the J-Mac issue. They will have to rely on the tandem of McCareins and Brad Smith to take over some of Dwight's slot routes and we'll see which one can perform. If Smith steps up like many of us think he can do, J-Mac's attitude will edge him out of a job in the offseason.

At his age, we can rule out acne, so is it some kind of STD?

I do not look for his play to change at all, or it already would have.

That ball was severly underthrown by Chad. Can't totally blame JMac for not being able to stop, come back and play defense on that pass. I'd say that was 80% Chad's fault and 20% JMAC. Though I don't doubt that Coles/Cotch might have made a good play out of it.

I don't think J-Mac is as bad as you make him sound. I think he needs to be used more, and that way his confidence can be boosted and maybe he'll have better games.

For a #3 receiver, I'd personally like Brad Smith, but it may just be J-Mac because of the fact he is more experienced.

I know you guys are Jets fans, but I think you are being too kind. I think Brad Smith would do an infinitely better job than JMac because Brad Smith's heart is into the game. You can see this all the time - the guy is always trying.

Look, Blaylock faultered and look what happened. Barlow started to struggle and look what happened. Why should it be different for JMac? Trust me, JMac is on Mangini's dog house radar.
