Totally agree. I love Leon but he is small. I don't see him having the fumble problem Tiki had though. Tiki's was quite pronounced. But Washington is not a feature back.

The 2nd Round Redskins pick is huge. I'd love to see the Redskins get buried in the next 5 games and move that pick even higher. This could be our RB pick and I'd love to see a Brandon Jacobs clone in the backfield with Leon. I think that combination would work real good.

i dont think he has what it takes to be a featured back, and if we get the chance to draft a bigtime guy, we gotta go for it...that being said, i'd like to see leon on special teams more too...maybe punt returns along with his kickoff returns...but i definitely think he'll be a solid backup and 3rd down back for us...if he shows that he can catch the ball and pass block, i see him being used in the same mold as kevin faulk with the patriots

Leon is definitely someone to hold onto for now but we realy do need a big-time relacment for Curtis. I've also been wondering why we haven't tried him on returns. Has there been a ball-handling problem with him on this? I don't remember him having a problem.

Which means that Barber isn't either, which is the entire point. Barber has managed to be a small guy who can consistently get more than 20 touches a game, and if Washington is built similarly (other than being an inch or two shorter), there's the possibility that Washington could also.

I think he could be a good third down back for some years, because he can be a could change of pace.

Leon can be a starter, period. I don't see how his size even factors into this. Guys as small as him start all the time in the NFL and I've seen nothing but positive things from Leon really. I really think Mangini should stick with him as our go-to-guy. RBs need touches to get going, I hate this 3 rb system...so until he gets most of the carries I can't even judge yet.
