I really hope so. I don't understand why mangini and schott consistently feed the ball to Kevan Barlow so he can fall forward for no gain. Leon is our most explosive back, and has the ability to make defenders miss with his shifty moves. He should be getting about 20 carries per game, the other 10 or so carries to Houston.
Do you think he matches up better against GB than Barlow or Houston? Does the shifty outside running RB fare better than the straight-ahead downhill style runner?
your right barlow plays like dirt if suggs didnt fail his physical we would of had someone better housten and leon should take the load housten looked great at the colts game so im waiting for him to break out against the packers
not to defend Barlow, because i really dont like him, but.... -Barlow has 6 TDs -Suggs got cut a couple weeks later. He then signed with the Dolphins, and got cut. I believe he is not even on a roster right now. So to say he would be better is just ignorant, and wrong. -I agree that Houston & Leon should take the load. Split it up between them 40/40, then let Barlow take that other 20 -Houston had under 50 yards in that game. If you consider that great, then the Jets really have some major issues at RB. Granted, he did do it on 12 attempts (4 ypc), but i wouldn't go as far as calling that a "great" performance
mudder, goal-line back houston is the kind of back the jets need for this kind of weather...he's a mudder ..he made ne chnge their field surface(and dwayne,hobson)..he has very good balance in the wet dirty stuff.he is also the best goal line backon the team.the jets should get rid of him only if they have somene better to replace him.that person is not yet on the roster..
Wouldn't it make sense to give Barlow more carries if Lambeau is a mess since he ran so well in the slop up at Foxboro a couple of weeks back? TBTF
