Merry christmas guys , looks like Sky are showing the Jets @ Phins game..... Happy days are here again  :drunk: http://www.skysports.com/skysports/article/0,,0-1025663,00.html
Thats excellent news Gus me old matey. Its not bad watching the game on the stream but when you think that they US boys are watching some games in HD its makes you think. I think they show a Jets / Phins game every year dont they? they seen to from what i can remember.
You can probably get the games on something called "TVU Player" also. It's a program for the computer that allows you to watch certain tv channels(abc, fox, espn(2), hbo)
Most of the Jet games have been available live on satellite TV in Europe on a motorised dish system. The only games that were not on were Week 1 vs Titans Week 7 vs Lions Week 8 vs Browns. All the other games were on Sky (2 games) or the metv free to air feed (6 games). AltTab
Subscribed to the International game pass , I know its $$$$$$ but to be honest having to scramble evry sunday evening for coverage just drove me nuts. I'm now a HAPPY CAMPER.
Its somewhat ironic that GM is giving me props for my avatar. My login name for this site used to be Green Machine, but im not a heavy poster like GM. So this year after getting sick of people asking me for Mod advice I decided to get my name altered to the one i use on all my other forums. Plus I felt that GM deserved it more than me And yes i did kind of make it, I found a cool picture of Sandman and then adjusted all the colours and added all the Jets bits to make him into a Jets Sandman
I've been living in London for about 6 months and there's a pub near by in Kensington that shows most of them. Although for various reasons (lost signal, bad weather, game not being carried) it's been 3 weeks since I got to see one! And this coming weekend I'm going to be in Krakow with the girlfriend and she'll kill me if I spend half of Sunday trying to find/watching the Jets game...oh well...looks like its the Buffalo game for me...
Can we collate a definitive UK opinion of our viewing options with their costs and relative merits? It seems to me that there is the following; 1. Sky - Only a handful of games a year 2. NFL Field Pass - Approx $40 per season for streaming audio (radio) over the public internet, works okay. 3. Any free to air internet radio options - I've not found one to work yet. 4. NFL Video stream to Europe via broadband - Approx $250 per season and very questionable reports about the quality. 5. Any free foreign language broadcast (eg TVU etc) - I've watched other sports (Arsenal) through this method so I'd say it will be dodgy foreign language commentary but at least live(ish) and free if/when available. 6. European Satellite options - Over to ALT-TAB Any views on the best cost vs quality options out there? Be interested to hear everyone's thoughts.....
Move over here. You get all the NFL games and still get the EPL. I get EPL games all day on Saturday and more on Sunday. I don't always watch them all but you could.
Jets-Phins is a perfect way to round off Christmas Day. If I finally get the XBox 360 I've been dropping big hints about (wife:"Any ideas what you'd like for Christmas this year?". Me: "An XBox 360") it will indeed be a great day. The Jets will win to keep up the pressure in the playoff race.
I believe it was $149 which is nothing considering that its nearly $2 to the ?. I have wireless at home and you are right , the quality at first was a bit crap , but still loads better than some of the streamers ( I won't mention who :wink. I now have a signal booster which is excellent and can now view the games at 1200 speed on full screen. before I used to watch it on a small screen with a min connection speed of 300kbps , which because of the size was ok , but theres nothing like kicking back. Getting new TV in Dec and going to wire the PC through it
