So I guess I'll be going to my 1st Game ever at 4:15 I'll probably leave my house at 1:00. My dad has guys he works with that may have a tailgate, so I'll probably go over there.
Actually quite sweet. My daughter's first birthday party is from 11-3 at our club for brunch (her real birthday is 12/28, but we wanted to get it done before the holidays) and I'll be back by 4pm for the game! Of course, this is the first week of the fantasy playoffs, so I'll be with Treo in tow checking scores
Hmmm. The only difference here is I tend to get much more drunk at 4:15 games... Guess I shouldn't show up to the parking lot at the same time as I would for a 1:00 game.
They didnt change it for me: but 4:00 games are often better -- if you live close (and dont get there 4 hours before game time) -- because you dont lose the entire day. If I dont tail gate -- the key is to get to the stadium about 15-20 minutes before the game. They open up the closer lots again. Anyway, my son has a hockey game at 1:15 so -- at least for me -- it works. My family is out on the island, so i certainly know how bad a 415 game is if you live out there -- and dont get home until 10 or so.
This sucks, it will be that much colder at the game. Also getting out of that lot at 7 30 and getting home is much worse then 4 pm. And the game will be played in the dark, which isn't a big deal but makes it that much colder.
I like the 1 o'clock games better. I can relax and watch the 4pm utcomes a little easier. I have to be at the office at 6am Mondays...helps me get an hour or two extra after an upcomming hangover.
Right on. I live in Buffalo unfurtunately and have to watch the Bills fan whine about everything. :buffaloblows:
I have to assume you're addressing me, numbnuts, so I'll respond. How is 12 days last minute? Because it is, numbnuts. Those of us who shell out the money and think beyond 12 days find it inconvenient. If you think 12 days is long-term, which I suspect you do, of course you'd think that "moving the game the day before to Arizona or something" is your yardstick and what should be considered irrational. After all, in your world, which is measured in worthless "what can I do right now for me" minutes, all you need is a 15-minute notice and a six-pack to make your plans. I knew they "started this stuff last year and I should of planned things?" Don't you mean I should have planned things? Your lack of education or IQ aside, does that somehow make it right? 12 days' notice is sufficient time to plan for something that cost you $400 out-of-pocket? By the way, there's some sort of punctuation needed between "something" and "all" in your last sentence and I can't find the time to help you at the moment. If you call up your 3rd-grade teacher, she may still be able to help, providing she can get beyond the adolescent, juvenile, disruptive behavior you exhibited in her class at the time.
4:15 starts suck. The only time I like 4:15 starts is when I attend the game, so I dont have to leave my house as early.
