Missing out on Cousins was one thing. Taking a pass on all these other guys (Burton, Robinson, Richburg, and Watkins) is a completely different thing. Mac still has time. But his holes-to-fill list is huge.

Is Woody moving the team to London yet?

Who's to say we took a pass on those guys tho? The issue really may have been they each took a look at the Jets and said "No QB? No thanks".

Mac did say he would be very active when FA starts so I guess he is standing pat till tomorrow. Just hope there will be some good FA's left when he decides to pic up the phone.

That's true. (Who the hell would want to sign up to try to catch Hack passes?) As it stands, the Jets are so bad that their money is no good. That's an impressive level of bad.

Very disappointed in Mac. He should have seen this coming. Knew the tram wasn't in prime position to get Cousins. Could settled up with Teddy or Josh.

    Plot twist.

Jets extend offer to Teddy, but inform him they still plan on drafting a QB in Round 1. Arizona calls him and offers him a starting job, less $ than the Jets tho.

    Where does he realistically accept?

For his scenario, going for the cash would be in his best interest.

I personally like the Bridgewater signing. It's a very much low risk high reward. He will come at a reduced price and probably be able to sign short term. If he can get back on track to where he was before his injury he is as good as cousins. He has been rehabbing for 2 years by the time the season starts.

I just saw a tweet bridgewater and jets close to a deal. I heard earlier Bridgewater only wants a short term deal which is also perfect for us as well.

You know when I panic? When I see we sign Dion Lewis and forget drafting an RB.

I don't expect much from Bridgewater but if the Jets can sign a short-term deal and it quiets the panic attacks that Jetsland are having right now I'd be good with it.

Freaking Jets fans stampede like cattle in a lightningstorm.

The move makes total sense if they still plan on drafting a QB.... Teddy knows he's got getting big $ after his injury, so he's banking on a play/prove it deal so he can then cash in if he plays up to his personal standards (a bit risky but I like the confidence)

During This time frame the JETS can let a rookie mature on the bench, so hopefully either they have a franchise QB waiting in the wings.... or Teddy proves he's the guy many thought he was coming out of Louisville. Not a bad problem to have*

*aside from the fact tha this is the JETS, and he'll probably never fully recover, and they draft another loser :p

We were never in the running for Watkins/Robinson without a more solid QB situation, Norwell became the single highest paid guard in the NFL with the Jags contract, and Richburg went to a team where he knew who he'd be snapping the ball too.

We'll grab one of the CBs in FA and possibly Bridgewater to leave us with "BPA" as the pick at 6 overall again. I wouldn't be suprised if we got Bridgewater, McCown, AND drafted a rookie at 6 overall.

I like signing Bridgewater or McCarron

Atleast then we don’t have to panic and trade up the damn farm 2 spots to get a QB in the draft who might make it to us anyway at 6

We can let the board come to us and go from there or even take a Rudolph in the 2nd

We better sign atleast 1 and hopefully 2 of the top CB free agents
