Good stuff, I agree. Chad will be fine.

Agreed. I'm not counting the JAX game, but he has one bad game against the [defense of the] BEARS, and everyone wants him gone. And they want... Kellen Clemens in? He came in for a few downs and didn't do anything but get sacked. IMO, he is no where near ready, so there is no point in looking for him to take over.

Apart from the first couple weeks Chad has been average to bad. He looks hurt and if he keeps playing like this the "he gives us the best chance to win" excuse will be gone.

No matter how you slice it 10 TD's, 11 INT's and a 76.8 QB rating after 10 games is average at best. In the last 8 games he has 6 TD's and 10 picks. I love Chad, the guy has great heart, but we need to face the facts...he's not a top flight QB. As for this year....I would keep Chad in to see how he finishes up. If he turns it around and the Jets go 8-8/9-7 he might be back next year, but I would be surprised if he was unless he takes another major pay cut.

People who have long hated Chad will bicker and complain at every little thing he does as being wrong. Unfortunately, Chad has given them ample ammo to use against him these past few games. However, if the coaching staff feels he's the best choice, then I can rally behind him and hope he has an outstanding game. Not a one of us know what is really going on behind the scenes, and if Chad has outplayed his welcome, I am sure the CS will do something about that when the time is right.

Personally, I expect a big turn around in his play, especially given the quality of the opponents coming up. He should have some big games. Then people like ye ol' noodle-brain can go hide back inside their closets.
