Get ready, we have heard it many times, we had a good week of practice, too many mistakes, we have to stop the penalties, every week the same stupid post game press conference from this idiot who listens to Motown music during the game as a so called head coach.
Meh, Bowls did a good job today. D played well enough to win and offensive guys made plays when they had the chance. Not his fault McCown can't take a fucking sack correctly.
Wow, Ray Lucas really sounding like an idiot right now on the postgame show - he is seriously saying that the play is dead when ASJ's butt hit the ground. EVERYONE knows that that is simply not the case. Feel free to not like the rule. Feel free to think there wasn't evidence to overturn the call. But to ignore what has been going on in the last few years in terms of how passes are called is just stupid. I think it shouldn't have been overturned, but it isn't a coincidence that ASJ has been involved in two plays like this - he's not securing the ball well enough.
+ 1000 Peoples minds are just in some strange vacuum...I like many fans here but alot are just stupid...sorry to say Toilet Bowles has them psyched but very poorly coached....what is this putz doing all week?...letting his "staff do the kitchen work"..and no meetings?? he probably went Xmas Shopping Like I have posted before Bowles problem is he never attended the Stanley H Kaplan Professional Football Coach's Review Course last summer Moohahahahah
Yes, and I've railed against the coaching on that point all season. This loss however wasn't on Bowles but rather poor execution by players at critical moments of the game. It's lazy to just point the finger at coaching whenever a game turns south. Players have to be held accountable as well. Bowles didn't drop TD passes, fumble in the pocket and blow punt return coverages.
You think we'd be doing better with Petty or Hack? He's still the best QB on the roster as sad as that is.
You think you just asked a rhetorical question, but SURPRISE! YES! I DO think Petty would've done better.
We all know that’s true but this team isn’t going to the playoffs this year and McCown is almost 40 years old.
it was a little bit of both imo...there is still plenty of PENALTIES that the team makes and that is on TB
My view is that it's all about value added. The only thing I see that Bowles might do well is get the team to play hard, and that's nowhere near enough to keep an NFL head coaching job. What else does he do to help the team?
I don't disagree but that's not what is being argued. If it were up to me Petty would have started the entire season but Bowles is in the business of winning games and of the choices available, McCown gives them the best shot.
