Falcons are favored by 4.5 with the Jets at home. That's like a TD or two field goals...so this could be close??? Not sure really I know the Falcons have struggled against the AFC East but while the Jets may stop the run they don't have the Offensive punch like the Bills Dolphins and of course Patriots to keep up with what Matt and Julio will do to us...ya gotta figure that combo is good for 14 points right there...plus there's Skrine and Lee defending for us (both whom I don't think are any good) Interesting HC match up with Bowles vs Dan Quinn who was prob offered the Jets job but....turned it down(hmm...) For The Jets to pull an upset it will have to be all cylinders clicking ( no intercept by Joshy) game management and zebra help
Absolutely. Remember the game in NE in 2006? Weather is a the perfect equalizer. Powell and Forte should have a big day on the ground.
I stopped reading when you said offensive punch like Miami. Jets can definitely win this game if we can contain the backs. Double team JJ entire game and don't let the backs beat us. I think the Falcons are still missing Beasley if I'm not mistaken.
Matty is probably looking at the Jets like they're a slumpbuster. But I expect the Jets D to have a good day against the Falcons.
Good point about the Dolphins But look at it this way ..Matt Moore who sucked against the Ravens last night feasted on the Jets when we played them. Also in that game we shut down the Miami backfield e.g. Ajayi and lost Now here comes Matt Ryan and comp who made it to the SB last year...this Matt is different than the other Matt lol
I'm just indifferent about the result, won't really be affected in any way, I'm done with being elated or frustrated. The game can go 2 ways: us winning despite someone's shenanigans or us losing because we couldn't compensate for someone's shenanigans, I doubt we'll get blown out. People have been criticizing Skrine, now we'll see how we'll do without him. As for the draft, I read an interesting article recently which said that the Jets could trade up for the Colts pick, since they won't need to draft a QB. So whatever, we'll be trading up, that's for sure.
That's what I thought. Yet the line jumped to Falcons - 6 today. Unless those bets were made without the weather knowledge? But the over/under number went down which indicates the weather. Seems like an odd one to me
Yep, line is up to minus 6 for Falcons Hmmmm....Does America just hate us or do they know something we don't
Seems like Vegas has some insider knowledge on this. No way a dome team should be favored in a game played outdoors in a nor'easter. The Jets aren't a great team, but they're not that bad either. I smell a rat on this one and would stay far away from the bookies.
That would indicate generic national media Jets naysaya's to me if anything. I presume those picks were @ - 4 1/2
Who remembers when the Jets were playing Minnesota? Fckn lights in The New Dump went out, testing, testing, hello, testing. I was laughing so hard, I almost lost it. Lightning strikes, Wayne Chrebet got pissed on in a severe rain storm and all he got was a rock. Do not like Woody Johnson. Stupid idiot. <==I know that's redundant, but he deserves it for getting in bed with the Maras. He was also convinced to cheap out over a retractable roof and then pitched a fit over opening day. EDIT & P.S.: I don't pray, but I did pray that the Lord I don't believe in would dump an epic amount of snow on NY/NJ and cripple the Super Bowl in The New Dump. There is no God. Toldja.
Jets lack of CB outside of Claiborne scares me. Skrine is out but he’s terrible anyway so won’t be too big of a loss there. LB and DB need to step up in coverage unlike last game or else this could be a long game...
Good point and Correct But what about the other two Buf is 4-2 and just scored 30 points against Tampa...the Pats ..well you know about that lol
