If we dont' trade Abe and we keep everything like it is now. This is my projected rookies for the first three picks. 1st round Dbrick 2nd round Mangold 3rd round Omar Jacobs Remember this is if things stay how they are right now. If we trade Abe then I think we should go a whole different direction. 1st round Dbrick 1st round (middle of the round) Lendale 2nd round Lawson 3rd round Jacobs Thoughts???
If you have us picking Lawson to play DE I don't think that will happen, I believe he's projected as an OLB at the next level. Seems like he's a hell of a prospect though.
We will trade Abe... And, if we sign or draft a big NT, then Robertson could be our DE on running downs
Mangini seems like he has quite the defensive mind- I dont know if we will trade him at all.:steelers:
Is Robertson fast enough to play DE? I know most people in here don't think Thomas will be a good player, but now is the time to give him a chance to start the whole season and see how he does. I know he started a few games last season and the season before, but I'd like to see him every game starting.
I would prefer a offensive lineman in round 2, but if we decide to go after D'Brick I would completely understand. I would then go after Brodie Croyle in Round 2...
He started 22 games, that more than one season and more than enough to see him for what he is, not some fanciful projection of what he might be..
perfect pass rush lb in the 3-4...... if we switch he is definetly worth a look that speed will makle him a terror
Agreed, because there should be some good tackles and guards there in round 2...any of the following can be there in the second. McNeil, Winston, Scott, O'Callaghan, Giles, Mangold,
im all for a lineman unless someones falls out the 1st rd and at that point is a straight steal. and we know this happens every year.
Agreed. He is very good against the run, but hasnt reached his potential for rushing the passer. He has the speed, maybe a move to the outside like a McGinest type will allow him to sack the QB more and make more of an impact.
