I think this one will be close. Ajayi will run all over us but Dolphins looked pretty inept vs Chargers.
Realists translation - Let's keep the tank train rolling and make sure we don't fuck this up by winning a game that costs us the #1 pick at the end of the season. Darksiders translation - Fuck the Jets.
Why are we saving the season?? What would be the point? Look at this roster and tell me there's a snowballs' chance in hell they make the playoffs. Pragmatism my friend..
lol do we even want a QB anymore? is that really our goal? Jets taking a DE with the #1 pick lmao. Watson just better not live up to the hype or I'm going to lose my shitttt!
If you season ticket holders want to save the season, you will sell or give your tickets to any Dolphin fan you can find. Let the Jets home opener be filled in Orange and Teal Blue. That will send the Johnsons a message and maybe we can send Bowles packing before January.
I'm expecting a 30-17 kind game in favor of the Dolphins. We will hang around with them for a half, or 3 quarters before the wheels fall off. Jay Ajayi will have a monster game, and I expect the Dolphins d-line to get to McCown a few times. Only way Jets pull this off is if Jay Cutler decides to throw a few picks during the game, otherwise it'll be another L.
Chargers defense is pretty solid and it was the Dolphins first game as their first week was a bye due to Hurricane Irma. I expect them to look a lot better next week.
They always get up to play the Jets so look for another loss. Wake and Suh might get to make another sandwich but at least nobody will be dancing on the sidelines..
Wouldn't be shocked if this is the game that McCown gets injured. O-line looked abysmal at times versus the Raiders.
I actually thought the O-line was improved yesterday against the Raiders from the week before. At least they were opening some holes in the running game. As for Mccown he's gonna get himself killed one of these weeks regardless if the O-line plays good or bad as he holds onto the ball too much
