Spot on. Also, he seems to be very determined. I don't remember the kid coming out, but he seems to have been through a LOT of struggles and here he is, still competing. 9 out of 10 players who faced what he faced would be selling life insurance in a strip mall somewhere by now. I wish him well.
Reports are that the equipment room has been repainted at the Florham Park facility. This bears as much on the future success of the Jets as this entire thread.
i cant stand fans... love the low risk high reward guys. there is NOTHING wrong with doing this. it also shows that they are looking everywhere. sadly the cfl is usually the death blow to an nfl career, guys would rather not play than go to the cfl. once you go there you rarely ever come back. i will be hopeful he can be an addition to the team. this is as someone said exactly what needs to be done. we cant fill all the holes in the draft unless we want to take 6 years to do it and we cant fill them all in free agency with big name big money players. uncovering guys who are unwanted or unrealized is the way you go from it taking 6 years to it taking 2 or 3 years. great job and smart work.
I do too. He is determined, fearless and hungry. After seeing our secondary last year perform one would think he deserves a shot.
May this fellow be the second coming of K. Warner, resurrecting his career and become a tremendous contributor. Hope Mac strikes gold with him.
Well, there have been a few. Warren Moon, Jeff Garcia, Cameron Wake, Joe Horn, et al. The point is (that some don't get) there are some there who can play and when you're looking for players, it's a source worth having a look into.
Lol every team has camp bodies with interesting stories. If this was an (insert other team) forum we'd be talking about (insert other camp body with interesting story) instead.
