Not til Brady retires. Idk what'll happen after that, but I doubt they'd still be perennial contenders. 11 of the last 16 years in the AFC Championship Game and 7 of those years with a Super Bowl appearance. It's ridiculous.
This is true. Jets fans rightfully complain when their coaches don't adjust, but Tomlin treats every game against New England as if the previous beatdowns didn't happen. Terry Bradshaw wasn't wrong ...
brady doesnt make ben hogan or wahtever his name is run wide fucking open like he is jerry rice, i mean wtf can we try to cover the guy? the pasties really are just so much better than the rest of the league.
They can probably win the AFC East after Brady retires, if they still have Belichick. I don't see this ending unless an AFC East team lands an elite QB.
They have the GOAT coach... I hate to say it, but he was running circles around the league with his backups.
That lob pass to the corner of the end zone has become so predictable that everybody in the stadium knows it's coming.
1 awesome game - Dallas and Green Bay bc of the way Dallas fought back Steelers - KC was okay. The rest I have already forgotten about. Zzz I guess Atlanta has been exciting. May the gods please bless them the super bowl. It's bad enough watching the pats there again
AFC East outside of NE has been complete garbage for so long. Idk if the dolphins are up and coming or a one year wonder, Jets have a good year here and there and then fall back into the sewer and Bills perpetually suck. When the Dolphins and Bills lost their franchise QB they fell into mediocrity/trash bin. Not sure that the pats will be the same unless Belichick retires as well.
The league needs to evaluate a bunch of the divisions, ours by far the worst. The league would have much more parity if there were no divisions. Sadly, the Jets are part of the gift wrapped post season promise for the pats and a reason for #1 status; which nets a bye and guaranteed home games. Pats honesltly had 1 tough opponent on their way to the super bowl. After watching this game it was the Texans. Vegas gave the Texans 15 heading into that matchup. This path for the pats had to be one of the easiest walks in the park.
Man how do you NOT hospitalize Brady there???? He's skipping around like a fairy and you are the Pittsburgh DB with 10 yards to tee off on the MF and you pull up to gently bring him down????!?!? Fuckin steelers
The whole AFC was weak this year. The one team that might have made the playoffs interesting was the Raiders if Carr hadn't gotten hurt.
NE has made the Super Bowl in about 44% of seasons since 2002. Only other teams to make it were Manning teams 4x, Pittsburgh 3x, Baltimore x1, Oakland x1.
It's been bad for much of the decade if we're being honest. Aside from the Ravens miracle run, it's mostly been a two horse race between the Broncos/Pats.
Trying to think of a single compelling reason to watch a NE/ATL Super Bowl...I'd sooner watch women's golf.
