    Petty is not the answer. He looked lost against a prevent defense today. Unless Bowles is looking to tank every game he needs to start Fitz.

    I'd rather tank and know that Petty is absolute garbage than play Fitz and tank.

    There's no reason to start Fitz at this point. None at all. Keep going with Petty. Either he figures it out and earns the right to compete for the job next summer or he doesn't, we keep losing, and get a good draft pick and discover that we need to further address the QB situation in the offseason. Either way, it's a win for the organization on some level. That's not the case if they continue moving forward with Fitztragic.

    Can we give Petty ONE LOUSY week of getting starters' reps throwing to Marshall and Quincy in practice before we street him? He didn't even get all the reps the week he started against the Rams cause of the maybesorta status of Fitz.

    Fitz shouldn't even dress the rest of the year, let alone start. Petty should start the rest of the season unless he gets hurt, or the coaching staff wants to evaluate Hack. The Jets need to see if Petty can be the starter or back up next season.

    Gruden also relentlessly praises Case Keenum whenever the Rams play on Monday Nights. He's defending and rationalizing the head coaches decision with those statements.

    I'd rather find out for sure that Petty can't play than watch a Fitz-lead offense put up 125 yards against the 30th ranked defense in the NFL.

    Eh Hack really is too green for the NFL, you have to have Fitz as the backup.

    To be fair if he didn't get hurt Geno would probably still be playing this year.

    Agree he is not the future but starting Fitz again is not an option. The fan base needs to accept the fact that our 2017 QB is not currently on the roster. Accept it and move on.
