Couldn't possibly be because he was torched by a JAG.....badly the week prior.
Better get a job woman because the Cromartie pie gets cut into many pieces. Is it 14 now?

And he is still probably better than any cb we have on this team. He got cut and I bet he wasn't ranked 103 of 112 like Revis is.

Haha..wow, you are right, not far off at all. Of course we was making what 2M, not 17 which I guess makes the gap bigger again just for that.

    irrelevant but ok.
I feel like you are looking for an argument because of the thread title but there is none here. no one criticized cro for the protest. no one even went after his wife for suggesting that's why he was cut other than to state its because he sucked.

And if he was that should be in the organization's rights to do so, as much as it is his right to protest.

I'm not. I'm just saying she's making excuses for him being a terrible CB.

    Haha sign this beast!!!

Speed in the secondary has been an issue, although I haven't seen duke play recently. He may be awful now. He took a lot of flack when he was here, but the years we had Cro, we had a solid secondary. As soon as he left, the secondary went to hell. Now I know Revis was a factor too, but Revis could never cover the deep threat speedy WRs without being able to bump and run. Another speed guy, wouldn't kill us, hell maybe even put him as FS.

The way the Jets get burned by big plays, it indicates the problem is mostly FS. Even when corners get burned, the safety should be able to assist when needed to avoid a deep catch or run that gets past the front line from becoming an automatic TD. Cro might not be the answer, but the Jets definitely need speed on the back end.
