If Matt forte fumbled 9 times in 2 games.

If Brandon Marshall dropped 9 touchdowns in 2 games.

If darelle Revis gave up 9 TDs in 2 games.

If clady got beat for 9 sacks in 2 games.

If mangold had 9 drive-killing holding calls in 2 games

If Wilkerson had 9 drive-killing roughing the passer penalties in 2 games

If nick folk missed 9 FGs in 2 games.

Do the fans want them benched?
    And
Would the coaches make some changes?

My answer would probably be yes for almost all of those and most of those players are future Hall of famers and not a QB who has never won anything/bounced around the league/ and has a hard enough time being talked about as a starting caliber QB let alone HoF.

    What do you guys think?

Forte would be benched for Powell.
Fitz might consider throwing more to Decker.
Revis would be given more help/put on weaker receivers.
    Nothing would happen to Clady.
    Same for Mangold.
    Same for Wilkerson.
Folk would be in mortal danger from this fanbase.

Can't argue with that but even the players you listed that would be either benched or have a change made because of their play ALL have accomplished much more in their careers then fitz, yet benching them/changing their scheme is a no-brainer... yet fitz is out QB.

The only one who would get benched is Forte because we have another competent RB in Powell, something we don't have at the other positions.

I think if Wilkerson ended 9 drives with 135 yards in penalties in only 2 drives with personal fouls I bet you would see him lose snaps.

If folk missed all those FGs would sign someone else.

If revis gave up 63 points in 2 games he would not be playing very much.

I could go on etc. If I listed any player with similar issues that was viewed among the league / fans in the same regard as fitz as far as quality of player and not a future HoF they get benched immediately or cut.

It looks more and more like Fitz will be the starter through the first 7 games to protect the young QB's from playing against these tough defenses. They don't want the youngsters to be shell-shocked before their careers even begin. We will see Geno by the 2nd half of the season, and possibly Petty.

I agree, but I don't think that is what Bowles is thinking at all. I think the only reason he's sticking with Fitz is that he still believes Fitz gives them the best chance to win and will play this out another 1-3 weeks. We could easily be 1-2 or 0-3 in that span so I think Bowles won't have a choice after that.

There are 12million reasons why Fitz will start every game he can this year. There is perhaps ONE reason to bench him.. That would be injury.

all those players would be benched. QBs are always treated differently. It doesn't make sense but they are

Speaking of QB's, I still find it interesting that we took Hackenberg ahead of Dak Prescott. Why does this always happen to this club?

The twelve million are water under the bridge - there are actually only three reasons; two aren't ready and the third never was.

Well if this all happens in the same 2 game stretch......................I'd probably hire a billboard.

Where do you billboard people find all this discretionary cash?

Or are billboards just cheaper than I imagine?

Unfortunately Paxton Lynch was also passed on and he is fitting in nicely in Den

The FO obsession with Def players has to end

This Franchise is stupid not to load up on QBs and the OL drafting forward

I hope the rest of the Board is seeing the net results of Offense neglect in player selection

Fitz is becoming a hugh disappointment

I am hoping for a competitive loss in Pitt with RF returning to form finding the open receivers for G*ds sake and not eyeballing Marshall.

A 30-24 loss perhaps but Fitz throwing for 200 yards a couple of TDs . Guy needs to just get some completions vs INTs

Sixpatrick needs to throw 0 TD's and 4 INT's. Then hopefully he is benched and we NEVER see him behind center again.

If that happens and he doesn't get benched it will get really ugly. If he even throws two more this week and doesn't get benched the stories will start to be written about why isn't he.

Fitz will easily throw 2 INTs Sunday. If not he is just gonna be lobbing it out of bounds. He can't beat anyone deep. Just sit the routes and it's a DBs dream. Fitz is about to have 15 INTs before week 7 if they keep him in.
