I'm just as disgusted as the next guy here but time to move on to Seattle.

I don't really have any expectations for this game since I do not know what Jets team will show up. I really don't know how we are going move the ball through the air since Sherman will lock down one side of the field and we won't be able to move the ball over the middle of the field.

On the bright side, Wilson might not be able to play.

Jets win 17-16 on a late field goal

We might have to use a silent count at home

Just give me 3 hours of watchable football. Last Sunday, (I know the thread) sucked so bad because I wasted 3 hours that I will never get back. Just give me 3 hours of watchable football.

    To drown out the boos?

Baldwin will torch this secondary. Jimmy Graham will have a day too.

Unless the Jets decide to, maybe try a RUN play on 1st and goal.... they need to throw away this KC game and start from scratch. Really need to get to Wilson too.

Get to Wilson but make sure we don't over attack and open up lanes. Kind of like we did vs tyrod

Not to drown out the boos, because of the 20,000 Seahawks fans that will be there. They'll be louder than us probably.

As long as it isn't a run into the teeth of the defense, I'm good with that. Maybe a sweep, play action fake, anything except the run up the middle OR the Shotgun to nowhere.

Going to this game and I wanted to see Russell Wilson, now I am hoping for a break here and hoping he doesnt play so we have a shot to win.

After the embarrassing game yesterday does a win matter?
These guys ain't contenders and I'm at a point where anything less than the SB is a disappointment.
If this team was a monopoly game I would've flipped the board over by now.

There are many good playoff teams throughout the year that have gotten their asses kicked really bad.

See Broncos vs Chiefs last year...Peyton Manning got benched because he went full Fitz-retard.

It sucks to lose, but I'd rather get the losing out of the way early in the season rather then later. And yes I know that logic didn't work last year after we struggled in some games but we are only to blame for ruining week 17 @ Buffalo
So we need to try and hope we can keep it together and stay healthy.

Fitzpatrick is notorious for having some horrid games just as much as he has went off in games where he has thrown multiple TDs. It was rough to watch yesterday.

Our D-line should feast on their O-line. That should be the matchup. Graham will be tough to stop just like Kelce. I think Baldwin will be kept in check. It's Lockett I'm worried about getting deep.

The Jets have a long, rich history of defying logic, whether it be for the good or bad. With that being said, they will defy logic again this week and take care of the Seahawks and move to 2-2. Russell Wilson has been sacked 7 times. It's time to dial up the blitzes and if we are going to get beat deep, at least get beat going down swinging. Mo laid the wood to Alex Smith a couple of times yesterday and I expect more of the same this week.

Not a must win game, but dropping to 1-3 would be quite a hole to dig out of. Even if they win, it doesn't mean much at this point. Hopefully they get their heads out of their collective asses and get their shit together.

Seattle has a week 5 bye, could be wise to sit Wilson and his MCL sprain (maybe not even have him take the trip across the country). Thomas Rawls is out.

If we lose to a Trevone Boykin-Christine Michael tandem...

if nothin else Wilson will be hobbled and that eliminates half his "game" right there. I like the Jets in this game. Those west coast teams really struggle over here. Look at Arizona yesterday in Buffalo. Plus Seattle's O-line has really struggled, now they face their toughest test with our D-line.

They have a good defense and will probably give our QB the fits.. pun intended.. but I think the Jets win an ugly 13-10ish type game.

Very interesting angle. The bye/cross-coutry factor could be significant indeed.

We will get to see how like Belichick Bowles is - wasn't it a blow out by the Chiefs 2 years back that had people writing off Brady and the Pats. Maybe we use the turgid performance to motivate our players to deliver like the Pats did

Time for optimism (however illogical or unrealistic) - that or lots and lots of booze to drown out the pain of thinking about last Sunday - former option cheaper and better for my liver

    You want Bowles to cheat?
