It will take 11 wins to get into the playoffs again IMO

patriots defense is better as is their coaching

and saying they are better at QB is a hug
im not sure how far our defense is ahead of theirs either.

Dude I'm not even going to read all that. It's not at all worth it. Losing Marshall handcuffs this team way more than most because we have an extremely mediocre quarterback. Top wide receivers are only as good as the dude throwing them the ball.

Roethlisberger, Cam Newton and Aaron Rodgers aren't going 4-12 because their top target goes down. Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown are. It's how this league works.

No one said that teams couldn't win without their top tier WR's but you must've not followed football too closely last year if you didn't notice the drop off in overall QB production without their #1 receivers. Their decline in production and efficiency were staggering.

You stated that N.E "cruised into the playoffs without Julian Edelman" but yet you couldn't have been more inaccurate.

N.E had a record of 9-0 before losing Edelman but yet only went 3-4 during their final 7 games without Edelman (while also losing out on home field advantage). Last season with Edelman (9 games) Brady had a record of 9-0, a completion percentage of 67.8% along with 24 TD's & 3 INT's but yet without Edelman (7 games) Brady went 3-4 with a completion percentage of 59.4% along with 12 TD's & 4 INT's.

You also mentioned how you didn't understand my example of using Jordy Nelson because Green Bay "won a playoff game without him". When in reality Rodgers missed Nelson just about as much as any QB could've missed his favorite target.

Nelson missed the entire 2015 season last year but the season prior (2014) Jordy Nelson not only recorded 98 receptions for 1,519 yards and 13 TD's (while Green Bay went 12-4) but Aaron Rodgers himself also had an All-Pro season.

Without Nelson last year Green Bay only went 10-6 while Aaron Rodgers (statistically speaking) had his worst season ever without Nelson. Last year Rodgers threw for 3,821 yards compared to 4,381 yards the year before. A completion percentage of 60.7% compared to 65.6% the year before. An average yards per pass attempt of 6.7 compared to 8.4 the year before. 31 TD's/8 INT's compared to 38 TD's/5 INT'S the year before and a QB Rating of 92.7 last year without Jordy when compared to a QB Rating of 112.2 just the year before with Jordy Nelson.

All the depth in the world (that you speak of) isn't going to replace an Antonio Brown, A.J Green, Odell Beckham Jr., Dez Bryant, Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald, Demaryius Thomas or a Brandon Marshall (no matter who your quarterback is).

Take T.Y Hilton away from Andrew Luck, Doug Baldwin away from Russell Wilson, Mike Evans away from Jameis Winston, Dez Bryant away from a rookie Dak Prescott, Allen Robinson away from Blake Bortles or take away Amari Cooper from Derek Carr and just see what'll happen to those QB's and offenses.

Wow maybe you should save some of this info for the book you are writting. You really are passionate about #1 wrs and their importance to their team. Can you please write a few paragraphs about the stefan diggs and sam bradford relationship.

how do you prove someone wrong that hadnt commented in the thread except to say he is passionate about #1 wrs. If you are going to be salty maybe direct your attitude towards the right person.

  7. Based on solely performance you are right. Patriots play confident lights out D w. only acouple standout players; Jets play tight & sloppy w. a stacked defense.Absolutely disgusting.

After this weekend, we shouldn't talk about playoffs until our sorry ass excuse for a football team shows us they are worthy of such talk.....
