It's no shock this fat pig picks the Pats. He literally sleeps in Patriot bed sheets. What is a shock, is that while praising Rodney Harrison's return from injury this year, he compares the man's mettle to Drew Brees and Carson Palmer. But he fails to mention CHAD MOTHER F'N PENNINGTON's return from an injury. And the Pats are playing the Jets!!! No credibility as usual: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/peter_king/11/09/week10/index.html
good point lantern......that fat fuck wont let Chads spat with the new york media die probably...now every little toolbag with a typewriter is looking to snub Chad anychance they get....d the writers vote comeback player of the year? if so you can forget about Chad getting the nod...not that I give to shit-stained balls if he does or not
It's amazing. I type in English but it comes out in Aramaic. Of course I'm not mad he picks the PAts. When has fatso ever NOT picked the Pats. I'm mad that he heaps praise on Harrison for his return from injury, and talks about other injured players like Brees and Palmer in comparison. They had one injury each. (Harrison, before his latest). Chad had two injuries that most thought would end his career, and he gets no mention.
I agree on the Pennington point. But every sports writer in the country is going to pick the Pats. That's how it is, when we win 3 SB's then everyone will be sucking our dick.
Why would anyone be angry that a guy who makes a living inside Gillette Stadium picked the Pats. We'd be best served channelling anger elsewhere.
Yeah its like when the Jets are playing another team and that team has a player who's going to break a record or set a team record ,They stop the game and celabrate. No respect.
For the record, because I wasn't clear enough TWICE: I'm not angry he picked the PAts; I know as well as anyone else he's been picking the Pats since Mo Lewis knocked the career out of Bledsoe.
Nobody is going to take the jets this week and I dont blame them. We havent beat the pats since 2002 thats a 7 game streak. Its almost as important for this team to beats the pats sometime soon as its is for them to make the playoffs
Hello, McFly. Anybody home? This thread wasn't about fatso picking the Pats. It was about him opening dialogue about players returning from injury, mentioning Rodney Harrison, then Drew Brees, then Carson Palmer...and NOT mentioning Chad. If anyone wants to talk about players returning from injury, and not just in the NFL...I'm talking about all of sports, in the history of sports...how can they not mention Pennington's name? Chad Pennington's comeback is already remarkable, not matter what he does from this day forward. Most people thought he was done, and that he wouldn't come back from the surgeries. Not only is he NOT done, he's played 6 out of 8 games remarkably. If Peter King wants to discuss remarkable comebacks and talk about his beloved Rodney Harrison, and then mention two other players...as far as journalistic integrity is concerned, he should have MENTIONED Chad considering who his PAts are playing this weekend. It was an intentional oversight from Peter King. That's why I brought it up. Not to take him to task for picking the Patriots.
I understood it from your 1st post. Peter has a hard time typing up his articles with Brady's wang in one hand and BB's in the other.
It's the intentional slight of not mentioning Chad's remarkable comeback that bothers me. You shouldn't talk comebacks from injuries without bringing Pennington into the conversation. You just can't do it! The Justice League of America will not stand for this type of journalism.
 Beat me to it. I had my "I dont understand why you would be shocked and pissed that he picked the pats..they are heavy favorites" line all ready to go.
I like the Bills prediction. The Bills are terrible and they play much worse on the road. I also like the fact that he thinks Whitner is good. Whiter has been terrible outside of the first 2 games this season.
