I think these NFL scouts often outsmart themselves. Hackenberg played and looked like shit in college and gets drafted round 2. Prescott was the Heisman favorite through three quarters of the season two years ago in the SEC and he falls to round 4. I wanted him in the mid rounds since we didn't take Lynch at 20. I wanted no part of Hack. Not a strong believer in the "potential" guys have if they performed awfully in college. And I know his situation was terrible, but he was still missing guys in shorts while at the combine and at OTAs in the spring.
I watched Prescott a lot in college and I'm kinda surprised. I thought he went where he should have in the draft. I don't know the exact circumstances of the what the cowboys are doing in camp and who is playing with who either. Way early to be making any kind of judgement on anything How many QB's went before him? There's luck involved also.

Lets see how he does when playing against defenses that are actually blitzing. That was his weakness in college. I will say though I was impressed with how he was leading receivers as he never did that in college. The guy is not your average 4th round pick though.
