I voted for Junc just because I know he's never coming back and for the reason you mention. Too bad we have to wait 5 months for Stokes to come back and see this thread.
I'd know exactly what to expect. But since I know Stokes will read this thread and intentionally do the opposite of what I expect, I'm definitely not saying what I expect.
Two years of snide dickhead didn't do him in. An angry midget reporting his posts did. Sometimes, you have to clean your mod group and find people who aren't so obsessed with their own lives to understand that the forum isn't their own life. I have faith in Petro, but he has made mistakes. He made Green Machine, Mister Moss and Dinobot mods just because they complained. I hope that in the future he bans people like myself and Stokes permanently, clears out the mod forums and finds moderators who really want the forum to flourish. I'd enjoy spying the forum from afar if it really became a renaissance. Until then... more of the same.

I miss Junc, I really do. I'm a Duke basketball fan, as we all know he was a UNC fan. Say anything you want about his point of view, but when his mind is made up on a topic...... there was no chance of changing it. Fun to argue with. I tell you who I don't miss....... Miamipuck! BadgerOnLsd I think people get banned too easily here. It's just a message board, not a community with a judicial system. So what did Stokes do? Nobody ever answered..
Which brings up the process for getting scolded, getting warned, getting put on double secret probation or getting banned and whether that is for a few days, a few weeks, a few months or the rest of your God forsaken life (and as Jets fans we all live God forsaken lives.) Are all moderators created equal? Can one moderator do you in because he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or cracked a tooth that morning? Is a consensus of moderators necessary or is there a bicameral organization of upper house and lower house regulators of good taste that need to simply agree or is there sometimes a two-thirds majority required? Is there a cumulative affect to the "fuck you's" and "blow me's" on here or is a more creative method of profanity a greater or lesser offense? Do these guys ever actually meet up for pizza and beer? Can you get sanctioned for suggesting a place for good pizza, and it turns out to be awful? What if Petrozza actually really likes Dominos and somebody here sent them to the best fuckin' pizza place in the free world? What's happening behind the scenes with these guys wielding power the Ghostbusters, Men in Black and the Illuminati could only wish for?
