Has anyone heard any news on how Charone Peake looks? I realize he was a 7th round pick but he's a guy I am excited about. Haven't heard anything on him, wondering if anyone else has?

He ran with the 1's last week when Decker and Marshall extended their holidays - did OK from what I was able to read - but then so did multiple others

    ^+1.

The Jets drafted a punter ahead of him. Talent-wise Peake was a projected 3rd-4th rounder and only dropped because of 'injury bug' concerns.

    119 Charone Peake WR 16 Clemson rSr 6-2 209 3-4

Every time I read about him they mention his small hands. You would think having huge hands wouldn't be good for a receiver. But just for example, in the NBA they don't even draft kids with a negative arm wingspans.

I have to assume it's a sarcastic joke. If it is, it's pretty hilarious.

Well i heard he's a 98 speed in Madden so you might want to think that over again.

WRs use their hands to catch so it makes sense that bigger hands would be advantageous. Going after contested balls, during inclement weather & blocking are a few examples I can think of.

I just watched 30 seconds of highlights. They are already heating up the bronze in the foundry.

Clemson players in general are very soft.

A Clemson guy who was too soft and injury prone at Clemson- doesn't make it on the field in the NFL.

I hope I'm wrong- well see. He's a 7th rounder so who cares if he doesn't hack it

Here's "day 3" hilarious from one of our self-proclaimed draft mavens here on TGG (lists himself as "Mockerator") who put out this gem:

End of "day 3" was hilarious alright:

Round 7, pick #241: Charone Peake
Round 7, pick #250: Scooby Wright

Funny how this one didn't get a response, considering the fact that his draft stock was mostly bad due to injury.

I remember signing back in just to question the poster who wrote that. Classic.
