Where we constantly get screwed by bad officiating they constantly get the benefit of bad officiating. We get those ticky tack BS roughing calls against Jax, Chad gets hit twice in the head on the final play last week and we don't get the call and now manning throws the ball and Williams from Hou gives him a slight touch and flags fly to keep a drive alive. It's so frustrating to watch how they get the benefit of calls and we get screwed.
Not to mention their o-line gets away with obvious holds on almost every pass play. And whenever they get called for a penalty Coughlin starts throwing a temper tantrum. Add in the "jump shots" after a sack and they could be the most flaming team in the NFL.
Oh come on now. You are so biased it's not even cute anymore. Get over it. Strahan and Pierce and Wilson always get called for the same BS feather-touch roughing calls, as does 95% of the NFL.
People here are sadly correct. Congrats on your Giants. Yeah I thought that was awesome. Then I thought about what he could do to Chad in a few weeks, and I stopped smiling. hmy:
I still think the Shockey catch in the end zone should've been a TD. That second foot barely hit the ground, but it DID hit the ground.
and another break as the refs blow the whsitle when houston could have scooped it up after the botched FG.
He lost possession of the ball after he hit the ground. He got 2 feet, hit the ground while still maintaining possession, and then the ball came loose right after hitting the ground. The lack of possession after hitting the ground would be relevent if his second foot didn't hit the ground.
Every team in the league has fans that think their team gets unfair treatment from the referees. None of them bother to remember calls that go their way, only focus on the calls that go against them.
Yeah I saw that, hilarious. I really need to get Sunday Ticket. Having to watch the Giants every Sunday sucks so bad, they are so irritating.
That was the correct call, you must have possession when you hit the ground and clearly he did not. it's similar to the Chambers catch against us in '02 and the Coles TD that was overturned against NO last year.
If you disregard the Giants player who was about to pick up the ball before the whistle blew, I guess. Oh, and the replay shows that it was incomplete. It's like you're trying to be wrong.
For EZ plays and sideline plays you have to have complete possession when you hit the ground regardless of the feet. If the ball moves an inch it should be ruled incomplete, last year the Giants got the benefit of that call when they ruled a Toomer TD a ctach when it should have been incomplete against the Rams.
It was the proper call, it wasn't a brak and that last play was a similar hit on the QB- why no penalty?
