Its on the official site http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/ 4.54 minutes of sublime action from THE man:jets: http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/multimedia/
Now maybe people will realize how much of a step he actually lost. See how lively his Legs were? Making stop cuts , Jukes and breaking tackles. All of that was gone in recent years. Great Vids though. Man, C-Mart was a beast back then...Gonna Miss him....
My favorite of all time. Any player, forever and always. As RoyalTee said he lost alot of step and big play ability the last few years. But, he was also a great runner because he is a student of the game. He would almost predict how his blocking would develop and always make the best possible decision as to which gap to hit and when to cut it back. Not to mention hes one of the toughest RB's Ive seen. Not trucking people, but playing through injury, constantly pounding the ball. He single handedly carried this team through his tenure. Aside from when Vinny,Keyshawn, and Chrebet had that great year, hes been the offense. Wish him the best, but hope he can stay with the orginization in some way shape or form. Preferably, a coach. 4th place isnt bad when your behind Emmitt, Sweetness, and Barry.
Great to see that. Two things. Parcells' staff really taught the Jet recievers how to block and sustain their blocks. Oh and it is great to see Deion Sanders desperately try to avoid contact at the 1.30 mark. TBTF
Great footage. The Parcells days were just f'n awesome. Martin is my all-time favorite I will miss the man terribly. We need to switch back to white cleats.
made me alittle sad to see this video. Time flys, and it was almost like yesterday when he was running like that. An absolute lock Hall of Famer. One of the classiest guys to every play the game, and one of the greatest feature backs to ever carry the ball.
Thats awesome, does anyone have it so I can download it to my hard drive. I would love to hang on to something like that.
Me too. Great video. Martin is my favorite football player of all time hands down. Everytime I hear him give an interview I'm impressed with his eloquece and thoughtfulness. He is going to be a success in whatever he chooses to do next. Hopefully remain with the Jets as a coach.:martin:
