Miller is way better than Ivory, so is Doug Martin. There were a handful of games where Ivory got less than 10 carries cause his ovaries were sore.

He's on the trade block. Maybe he could be had for a low draft pick.

I'm okay with losing Ivory, but losing Powell too would be really bad

His breaking 5 or 6 tackles and turning it into a TD against Miami was a thing of beauty. Great runner when healthy, but health > week on and off production.

Hope he has success in Jacksonville with Yeldon, could be a good pairing.

Glad we didn't sign him now. 6 million is way too damn much for a guy that's taken the hits he has. Would like to resign Powell and draft a back early or sign Miller and draft a back late. Don't see the Eagles trading Matthews now that they've dealt Murray.

My solid offseason backfield would consist of...

    Ezekiel Elliot
    Bilal Powell
    Tim Hightower

Freddy Mondo and FJF like this.

Sucks to lose ivory, but with him wanting 6 mil and us not having a qb, I understand the move. This is probably his last big pay day for him so you can't blame him. Ivory could have easily had more than 1000+ yds this season, but injuries, inconsistent play calling and run-blocking halted his progress. He made our line look a lot better than what it was half the time and for that i'll be grateful. It was a fun 3 years but we gotta move on. One of my favorite jets to watch in the past 5 years.

Thanks for the memories Chris. Good luck in Jax. We need a short yardage and goal line back, but Ivory was never a fit for Gaileys offense and his price tag was just too steep. I see us drafting a RB early (first 3 rounds).

For ADP, Jamaal Charles, or Todd Gurley $6 mil isn't bad.

For Chris Ivory it isn't good.

Sucks that Ivory is gone but at the end of the day this is a business.

A late round draft pick appears to be the key with the eagles right now.

There are no feature backs in our price range Mathews is a great option to split carries with.

6 million is too much to give Ivory since he can't stay healthy. Hopefully the Jets re-sign Powell and another FA to split carries for this upcoming year.

I think they might be in the same situation we were last year in that they have spend to reach the cap floor.

It was fun watching him pound through the line for 10 to 12 hard fought yards..... Good luck Chris!

That's a lot of money to watch him cycle just off the field.
