I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with what Pryor said. So, he was salivating at the idea of combining the Jets D as is with a dominant pass rush like the Broncos'. We do that all the time here. Everyone knows OLB is perhaps our biggest need this offseason BECAUSE we need that pass rush. I don't see how what he said is an indictment on our squad at all. He seemed to just be saying, "man, with a pass rush like that plus all the pieces we have, it could've been us in the Super Bowl!" Or at least that's what I got from it. P.S. There's a thread on here currently at 5 pages saying essentially the EXACT same thing Pryor did. Sooooooo....
No matter what scheme the Jets run, they simply do not have enough edge rushers. Hopefully the Jets can find another edge rusher with a cover linebacker so we can send 4 on a 4 man front since that's what Bowles does on passing downs. I don't think Pryor needed to tweet that to make a point.
Not a big deal what he said but he should know by now how media/social media works. They should all deactivate their accounts. Sheldon and Pryor are probably the two dumbest Twitter users I've ever seen.
