aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!! now the jets might not even have a record over .500 at the halfway point of the season!!!!!!! they've got to pick up another win somehow during this bye week!
Our crack legal staff is diligently preparing appeals of both the Cleveland and Indianapolis games. Count on 6-2 by the time the train leaves for Foxboro.
I'd rather be a fan of a 4-4 team that was only supposed to win 3 games all year, than a fan of SuperBowl favorites that are 1-6.
I am very happy where the Jets are this year. It would be nice to go 10-6 and make the playoffs. But who are we kidding, it isn't like we are going to be winning the superbowl with this team. We can't stop anyone running the ball, and for the most part, we are struggling getting our running game going. It is almost a good thing to lose some games, to have a better draft pick. Set up for the future - we still need a solid NT, DE (Kimo hasn't done anything), maybe a RT (Clement is getting up there and could probably be upgraded), other than that maybe a fast outside LB. Plus we have a really soft schedule this year, so our record isn't really that impressive, all things considered. Nonetheless, we have alot of fight in this team (exception that proves the rule - Jacksonville). Every game the Jets are in it till the very end. I am very impressed with Mangini - he is lightyears better than Herm when it comes to football IQ. I love that the players aren't complaining about the call - the "5 second rule". Lots of teams and players would keep being bothered all week long. As for the non-catch. I disagree with the journalist and others saying that it doesn't matter, the Jets didn't deserve to win that game. I don't see the logic there. Sometimes the winning team doesn't deserve to win. The play looked like a for sure 6 - just my opinion.
