Pennington always plays lights out after a hapless outing. Giving these Jets and this coaching staff two weeks to sit with the sour taste of a loss to prepare for the Pats is a good thing. I'm trying to remain hopefull here, and the truth is, 4-4 is not that bad.

I see an upset in New England come two weeks...

I really wouldn't say Chad was "lights out" against the Dolphins after the doughnut in JAX.

I'm with you here man. Chad is his biggest critic and will blow a gasget to make up for a poor performance. I think we can cause a surprise in New England.

I dont know about you, but ive watched St. Louis beat Denver, Houston beat Jacksonville and then lose to Tenn, Oakland beat the Steelers, and Chicago almost blow it to Arizona. Granted these teams were playing home, but I think anything can happen In NE. The pats have to play a big game next week vs Indy, we'll be rested. Thats a formula for a blowout or an upset, it just depends who comes out fired up....im certainly not gonna bet the jets, but i dont think you need drugs

These things happen in the NFL. Talk to the Jags about the Texans.

It would be freaking sweet. Not likely, but it would be nice.

while i'm hopeful & every given sunday bla bla bla, the pats basically own us & are too good a team in too many area's.

Well, I see your point in a way but it would not surprise me in the least to see the Jets upset NE. The NFL is crazy nowadays, anything can happen. But I wouldn't go to Vegas and bet it either......

Any Given Sunday is all I have to say but if we come back after the bye playing the way we have ESPECIALLY ON DEFENSE ... its a wrap...The Pats will DECIMATE us.

The one play was happy to see was Chad sprinting to the line and running the QB keeper so the Browns couldn't review the low Cotchery catch. It is such a no-brainer play, but something the Jets never did under Herm. Beside, Penny got like 4 yards on the keeper.

NE is a must-win for a shot at the division. We also need NE to loss tonite and next week to the colts.

For wildcard, we have to win the remaining "easy" games to get us to 9 wins, then get 1 upset (Chi, @NE, @Minn) to make the playoffs at 10-6 (if that is enough).

Losing to the browns is a huge blow, and our chances are growing thin.

I agree. I don't think 9-7 will cut it. We have to go 10-6 to make the Playoffs. Now out of all the predicted games we should win that will bring us to 9-7 now. We're gonna have to take down a top dog or two.

With the exception of the Bengals, the Patriots have played relatively easy teams and won against all of them. That being said, so have the Jets, and I don't like their chances in New England, I'm sorry to say.

It would be much much better going into the bye with 5-3. That gives us hope and a drive to beat the pats. Now they have nothing

Actually,it would be typical Jets for that to happen. The on ly problem..........it's the Pats and they still have Brady and a sick running game:mad:
