I am so glad this game is at Metlife instead of Nashville. I hate 4:15 games. 1:00pm is the best time to watch the Jets.
Yup, this is what the Bucs did and I'm suprised it didn't get more coverage. They were on the verge of blowing out the Saints in week 17, which would have cost them the first pick, in the second half Lovie Smith benched Mike Evans, Lavonte David, and several other starters, securing the first pick. I don't expect players or coaching staffs for the most part (unless your Lovie Smith ), to tank. But as a fan who knew we'd likely have a new coaching staff and a fan that was sold on Mariota or Winston becoming good NFL QBS, I definitely wanted them to lost that game against the Titans.

Jets fans are not timid losers. They have just been here before. Many times. So the worry of winning a big game followed by losing a game they should win is in their minds. They all know they are better than the Titans and that the game is at home. You just never know in the NFL. I feel very confident about tomorrow's match-up.
There is only one thing that scares me about this game, the fact that the Titans have nothing to really play for. They want to see their young quarterback succeed, that's it. Outside of that, what is stopping them from... Going for it on 4th down when they normally wouldn't. Using lots of trick plays (which cause us problems...see Texans game). Fake punts/FG's. The only thing that scares me is that the Titans have no pressure to come out and play this game 'normally.' They can use all the trickery they want with no negative consequences, because losing this game doesn't really mean anything. Hopefully we are prepared for that. The stadium should be rocking and we are the much better team. Jets win 27-13.
Hey now, I was the first person here and a lot of places to compare Flacco to Bert because of his eyebrows. But Mariota... He actually physically resembles Bert.
Should be a big game for Fitz again. I don't see them being able to stop him, their DB's are absolute trash. 350 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT maybe. But those numbers would only be possible if Mariota can move the ball which I doubt. At least not on that level.
Hoping the Jets get their first 3 game winning streak of the year today and left the SOJ in Houston. Undefeated so far in December! Hail baby.
