I'm for a complete loss of words right now. How the F does a player not only inactive, but on IR get flagged? How is that even a thing? Who thought of that rule? Since when is that a rule!?
I could see it if Colon shoved him or made any kind of physical contact but I don't get it just for yelling at the guy even if it was off-color.
Unsportsmanlike conduct is applicable to everyone on the field. You don't have to be one of the 22 players active on the play to get called for it.
But he didn't even do anything. Why wasn't their player flagged? He's the one playing. Get back to the huddle, not the Jets sideline.
Was Colon even looking at the ref? It'd be pretty odd if he was talking to the ref while staring down the Giant player.
Your not even on the field to back up anything you say. Shut the fuck up. You wanna talk Shit, get out there and back it up otherwise shut up
I am sure we can't cut a player on the IR, but Colon needs to be asked to leave the team until the end of the season at which point he will not be resigned.
If a d-lineman can call a timeout from the sidelines Im sure an IR'd player can get called for a penalty. Still an insane flag though.
I really feel like this is something that happens all the time and shouldn't have been called. Also, fuck Willie Colon
It takes talent to pull that kind of shit off, honest to god… Its a bit of a work of art in a way, a master stroke from a penalty renaissance master.
Hahaha this is one of the funniest posts I've read in a long time. He's like the Leonardo Davinci of infractions
