Well, celebrating with a sprained knee seems kind of unlikely. Getting up after a hard hit and celebrating and spraining your knee seems more likely.
Whatever worked for you Todd Bowles in keeping the team winning ya gotta do IMO bench the liabilities and give young talent a chance Will he play Williams over Mevi$?. Not sure..Spent the farm on DR so who knows
I was surprised Milliner didn't get some snaps after Williams went down. He was dressed to play, and I was curious to see what kind of game shape he was in.
Who are you saying is in the doghouse?? The name that comes to mind is Cromartie. I would just cut his ass straight out. No hustle, non tackling SOB. Anyone else think the same?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He was walking to the sideline just fine even after the celebration. It wasn't even a celebration that could have caused an injury like that. He got up, ran like 5 yards and shook his hands a little in front of the camera and jogged over to the sideline. Like I said, watch the play again, it was a vicious blindside hit right to the knee. It's probably very safe to assume that's what caused it.
He's fading away like Coples. Have to wonder if he gets cut soon. Bowles seems more comfortable with Walls & Dex after our top 4 corners.
You're making something up with no visual evidence. Have players hurt themselves celebrating? Sure, but there was no shot of this happening with Williams. There is, however, visual evidence of him taking a big hit to the leg after the INT. Why would you not think that's where his injury is from? True he did get up quickly, but it's not like he started doing the Moon Walk into a split or anything.

What's the point? If he plays he gets injured. If he's not playing he gets sick. You can't store him in a bubble.
Vicious hit in the knee. It's much more likely he hurt it walking off the field than having a 200+ lbs. player drive through the knee.
I know I'm sounding negative but as much as I liked today's defensive performance in many ways, the last 9 minutes of the game were horrible. We flat out collapsed and allowed two TDs because of total lack of blitz capability. Not to mention the last one clearly highlighting Cro's poor tackling and lack of position on the receiver. When are we going to finish a game on a solid, strong note? At times I feel no lead is safe with the Jets. That is a key reason we consistently get beat by better teams, we can not sustain a good performance for a whole game.
I get what you're saying but with a lead like that, the players tend to slow down and not care as much. Hard to blame them. The game is in the bag. You can't expect them to go full force winning by 20 points with 9 minutes left
Thats why I thought we should have put in all the young guys. Maybe not a full 2nd team, but I was wondering why we used Fitz and Ivory that late into the game. Let some younger guys go out there and prove themselves.
Is the end of the season soon enough? I don't think Cromartie survives to make another dime on this contract.
