Plaxico constantly is pushing off(not necessarily on that TD catch) and they NEVER call OPI but the Bucs get a big play(finally) and they call OPI on TB. I wish we could get calls like those.
While I'm not taking anything away from Burress, and it was a nice grab, it was pretty unnecessary. Ronde Barber had no chance at catching that ball, it just seemed arrogant going up with one hand and catching it. Not to mention what junc said.
The Tampa Bay offense is borderline comical. Their QB can't throw and their WRs can't catch. Lovely combination, eh? The Giants D might as well just sit on lawnchairs and watch from the sideline, and the Buccs O still wouldn't get anywhere.
He was arrogant by having to react to the ball and bringing it down with one hand? Are you kidding me? And junc, they haven't called the ticky-tack OPI's on ANYONE. Not to mention that if the refs are going to favor a player, it sure as hell ain't going to be a loudmouth like Burress. The OPI called on Tampa was given to Becht, and it was because he literally ran Reggie Torbor over.
they got tangled up, that never should have been called and in a game last year in Atl TWICE jets Wrs were called for OPI. I am not saying he did it on the TD, i thought he made a nice move and subtly pushed off but it was a great play to free himself.
the Bucs are dreadful, galloway has dropped 2 long passes, Clayton dropped a TD and then they get the 1st down on a 4th and 6 and they fumble it away. What a frustrating team to watch.
That was the dumbest 4th and 1 call I have seen in a long time, Gradkowski is horrible and they try a play action pass.
I hate to admit it but I am really impressed w/ the Giants this year. Today was not pretty(probably more to do w/ the conditions) but they got the job done. I still have questions about Eli and that secondary but the Giants are going to be a tough team to beat in th NFC this year.
The giants are a strange team, when Plaxico tries their offense can be great, eli just chucks the ball up high to him, it's such a bail out for a qb but it works for the time being. Jacobs is a real nice player to have to change things up, but he acts like he's the best player in the league. The Giants have a solid team, not great, and they should win their division, but the jump shot thing is just annoying. Accorsi has done a nice job drafting, I don't hate the giants, I just hate some of their fans who seem to hate the jets for no apparent reason.
Jacobs is a loudmouth, and hopefully he'll learn a bit of humility as he gains experience, but I love the energy he brings to the team. He never, NEVER gives up on a run.
Wow, what are the Buccs doing? During this drive, under 90 seconds to go, down by 2 TDs, they've ran the ball and threw it short over the middle of the field. They might as well just take a few knees or forfeit the game altogether.
