Cro blows. And confuses tickling with tackling.

This is perfect example how Jet fans on here are. Dog Cro for his mistackle but make a excuse for another. You go for the tackle first then let the second guy go for the ball.

This is why nobody even bothers arguing with you. Understand that we differentiate between somebody having a long history of missing tackles and being a terrible tackler (Cro) and another guy (Marcus Williams) having an off game with no history of missing tackles at this rate and being sloppy with his technique.

So I get it now. We both know Cro was never known for his tackling. So I guess all of a sudden in people eyes he should turn into this great tackler?

Nobody is saying that. His tackling wasn't a big issue the weeks before.

but, but, but I thought Kerley was doing such a good job catching the ball and not fumbling even though he is usually calling for a fair catch because you know its like so hard to run with the ball

It's definitely starting to look like last season might have been the last bit in Cro's tank. Without his athleticism the guy is a liability. If he could tackle worth a damn he might have made an ok FS. As it stands I think Cro might find himself out of the league sooner rather than later.

Isn't it funny how last season Idzik got so much flak here for not resigning Cro, even though Cro sucked like all hell in 2013 for us, and sucks now. Doesn't that decision look brilliant now?

The difference is by not resigning Crow last year he left us with no one. We were picking up guys at the 7-11 to play DB for us last year

How is that different from us having no Tight Ends or Safeties this year once the starters went down with injuries? Shit happens, can't plan for everything.

Non-tackle is right. Cro, at least PRETEND you are trying to make the tackle.

He hasn't been a good tackler his whole career so it doesn't matter if it was a problem or not the week before. Don't compare one week to a whole career.

It's a lack of effort, not a lack of skill. Again, this is why nobody ever bothers arguing with you, you rarely make any sense. Whether it's with your blind support of Geno or Cromartie. If Cromartie shows effort his tackling is good enough to not be the weak link in any defense. Whether that's with us, the Chargers or Arizona. If he doesn't bring his A game, if he doesn't show effort, he gets exploited. Stop acting like he has never been able to tackle, stop acting like anybody said he's a great tackler or that he's supposed to become a great tackler now. Read, think, then give your take on it.
