What ever happened to Ian Smart?

    I remember he was on the Bucs last season, and was once on the Jets Pratice Squad.

    He's not in the NFL anymore, is he? I'm just curious because he went to college (CW Post) with my cousin, and they were close friends. She doesn't have contact with him, but they used to talk and hang out when she was with the guys and stuff. I rememeber when I got his autography at Training Camp when he was with the Jets I told her who I got (because she asked) and I said "Ian Smart" and she was like "Oh really I used to go to school with him".

    nfl.com no longer shows him as an active player --
    my brother worked with him while he was going to school and he also went to the same high school as I but many years apart

    no just worked with him -- in a supermarket in North Babylon several years ago

    Funny thing, my cousin went to N.Bab HS, played football and worked at a local supermarket too.
