Marshall is a great guy. He has changed unlike a lot of players.

I'm kind of sick of people here ragging on him for a rare drop, or that one play against Philly.

Reality is he admitted he had a problem and tried to fix it. He's been pretty good since he was diagnosed. It's not easy for guys in his position to get the steps in order to get your life on track and he seems to have found the way to do it.

As far as the drop... it's inexcusable but it happens. Was it the difference in the game? Probably not but I can understand fans frustration with it.

WOW! My respect for Brandon Marshall is through the roof. Fantastic commentary; he was vulnerable, eloquent, and insightful.

I hope Hardy can turn it around like Marshall did, but I don't see it... like the guys in the video said, Hardy will need to bottom out first, and he's clearly nowhere near rock bottom, and I don't think he has a clue about who he is.

Mental health needs as much exposure as possible. There is still a huge stigma on mental issues in America. If there's a disorder with any other organ... stomach, lungs, liver, we have no problem addressing it immediately. But when it comes to chemical imbalances in the brain, we seem to suppress the problem or try to tough it out. And I'm guilty of this too because I've been battling depression for the better part of the last decade but have been reluctant to help myself with therapy and/or meds.

So, hats off to you Brandon Marshall.

I hope one day you can get the depression under control. I dealt with some depression issues in my younger years and it's not fun. I think unlike Marshall who was repeatedly thrown in the line of fire for his decision Hardy has enablers in Dallas. It's quite clear they will say and do anything to not make Jerry Jones look like an idiot. Jones is a terrible owner and an even worse human being. I could care less how many SB's he was able to ride thanks to the worst draft in sports history he could care less about Hardy as a human as long as he can help him win football games. When he loses a step he'll be thrown to the curb like a pile of garbage.

One play against Philly or stupidest play of all time?

He has made us a winner, and has made every WR on our team better on account of his drive, talent and eagerness to win at all cost.
He admitted that was a dumb play, period end of story.
To remotely insinuate that that was the stupidest play of all time for a team known for the butt fumble, Teboemania play calling, and pathetic ground and pound philosophy is a statement to the fact you haven't watched much Jet footbal for sure, or NFL games for that matter.
I'll take his mistakes versus his contributions every freaking week, instead of the BS play calling , total lack of players preparation and intensity and mediocre if not pathetic WR performance we have had prior to him joining this team.

I generally like Marshall's transformation, but something has always stuck with me about him that I can't get past. The details of the well-publicized domestic abuse situation he was involved in were absolutely horrible (stabbings, bricks and car windows, etc) are things that Marshall has never copped to. He denies it or talks past it to this day. I'm not sure if that's a legal thing, if what he's saying is somehow true, or if he's just not admitting the truth, but it has always made me skeptical of him in the years since he seemingly got his act together.

I'm in total agreement... when we were rumored to have been pursuing him in 2009, I posted his insane list of offenses as a reason we definitely shouldn't have done it. He ended up going to Miami and we ended up getting Braylon.

It's always stuck with me that he was one of the players that got away with all of that domestic stuff before the NFL started pretending to take it seriously.

When I was watching this clip, it struck me that he was very very careful about not getting even close to mentioning any of the things he actually did, like he was scared of people knowing about the events he had been involved in.

So I really didn't feel the euphoria that people are feeling in this thread about this segment.

Don't get me wrong, I think the guy comes off like a changed man from the way he used to be, and I think he's doing a good job as a football player and a person.

But if you're going to preach about the lack of contrition that another player is showing, please show some of your own. Brandon Marshall copped to nothing. He's talked at length about getting help, that's about it.

It was definitely the difference in the game if you believe Folk would have made a long FG at the end. It doesn't bother me all that much though because I didn't expect to win in NE anyway, there is always something up there.

Marshall has been huge..Even tho I feel deep down we beat the Pats if he catches that TD I'm not taking anything away from his contributions this year. He's everything and more we could've imagined when we traded for him.
You can list all the faliures of years past all you want nothing changes my mind that lateral against Philly was tied for the stupidest play I've seen in pro football along with the Colts ST disaster against the Pats.
