Almost no time to practice with the team im going to be very nervous whenever he punts that something is going to go wrong like a fumble or something. Also he is holding for FGs too so theres thats too.

It's one of the few positions in sports where it doesn't change no matter what team you're on. It's like playing first base.

He can't be worse than Quigley.

He has been so far. Almost making me miss Quig's consistent 40 net.

His 1st punt was bad, but his last 2 were good.

This feels a lot like when most of the board (myself included) wanted Braylon back 3 years ago, and he flopped out.

He's been what you would expect coming off of his couch to play. We can't rely on him to give us an edge in this game. We have to outplay the Pats, we won't win field position battle

Yes, I'm worried that a punter has practiced the super complex play that is a punter's responsibility.

    Said no one ever.

    Yes.
Especially when he kicks the most important punt of the day and gets a Net of 22 yards.

Send him back to the fucking radio station.

It's cool, people here told me he was drastically better despite all individual stats pointing otherwise.

    LOL!

But yeah, isn't it about time we drafted the best available punter in next year's draft? I feel like I've been screaming for the Jets to do that forever now.

Weatherford didn't do anything to secure a roster spot after today.

He doesn't have it anymore......I knew that before we signed him but we had no choice.Secretly I think the front office was hoping he was gonna knock off Quigley and give us a reason to cut him.
