Westoff must have scared the crap out of him. His average was at it's worst with the Jets. When he left the Jets and went to the Giants his average went up by @ 3-4 yds/punt.
Per Cimini, it wasnt only the money that caused the Giants to cut him. "he was shaky in the preseason and dealt with a back issue."

Its usually because the field posistion battle gets easly overlooked..the way that our team is structured and has been structured, field positioning is vital
