Our O-line is Nasty and they looked it in London.
Carpenter, Winters Giaco looked downright nasty.
... I love guys like this...

Reminds me of the years w/Mawae..Not as good of course but they were nasty!

Quietly one of the big reasons why our offense has generally been able to be productive. Staying out of those 2nd/3rd & long situations that were a staple of our offense last season.

We've got a good LG for the first time in a looooong time. I can't remember the last guy who was actually a good pass protector. We might be talking all the way back to Pete Kendall in 2006.

I'm actually getting a lot happier with Winter's progress. He did very well against Suh. We might have some depth in the making. LT is the next target draft for the future.
We should draft depth at OL at every draft.

Just want to add, Russell Wilson likes to run but this year he's running for his life. I think LG is the second most important position in pass protection because it's the fastest way to the QB's blindside. The real talent is usually rushing from RE/ROLB or it would be the most important position for pass protection.

Yeah, when we signed Breno last year and then Carpenter this year, I kind of just assumed that we were getting the cast off guys from that line, but the pass pro for Wilson has been horrendous this year and the Jets Oline has given up just 2 sacks so far.

    Can't be a coinkydink.

apparently we cleverly kept him AWAY from Suh if GGN is correct.

but he did alright regardless. its in our best interest if he develops into a regular starter, but I've doubts about that happening. Is Colon still hurt this week?

Wait. So if Suh lined up in front of Winters, Winters and Mangold switched? Or Winters dropped back and Ivory took over RG? Or maybe Fitz just refused to snap the ball until Suh moved somewhere else? I might have to break down and read the article. Now i'm curious.

    You guys like Winters now?

I haven't paid that much attention to the O-Line. Didn't know Winters was performing well.

He only started the Miami game, and appeared to hold his own quite well.
